The Wallace Collection (TWC) is seeking to appoint a Building Services Engineer and Sustainability Consultant for a significant re-development project as part of TWC’s Masterplan. The completion of a full RIBA Stage 4 design is required, along with RIBA Stage 5/6/7 services. Tenderers must demonstrate sufficient capability to support the procurement and delivery of the project at the Wallace Collection in Westminster, London. The Building Services Engineer’s scope includes the design of mechanical, electrical, and public health services, and coordinating below-ground drainage with the Structural/Civil Engineer. It also involves integrating electrical and data cabling specified by specialist consultants (e.g., IT/AV, security, fire, and catering) and addressing catering-related electrical, ventilation, and drainage needs. Additionally, the scope covers vertical transport systems and ambient/emergency lighting, ensuring alignment with architectural and exhibition lighting designers’ requirements. The Sustainability Consultant will lead the development and implementation of the project’s sustainability framework, ensuring alignment with the Client's objectives and compliance with relevant legislation and standards. The scope includes acting as the BREEAM Accredited Professional and Assessor, guiding the integration of sustainability measures into the design and construction phases, and coordinating with stakeholders, including the BRE and planning authorities.

Scottish Water is seeking to appoint suitably experienced Asset Delivery Partners and Primary Designer(s) and to deliver our SR27 and SR33 programme of capital works. SR27 is the regulatory period spanning from April 2027 until March 2033. SR33 is the regulatory period spanning from April 2033 until March 2039. Scottish Water aim to award this procurement by March 2026. It will run for a fixed period of seven years until March 2033 with an option to extend for a further six years until March 2039. <br/><br/>The Construction, Design and Management (CDM) 2015 Regulations will apply. Successful bidders will be required to utilise Scottish Waters Supply Chain and Specialist Frameworks. <br/><br/>To deliver the Capital Investment Programme SW is creating an Enterprise, an advanced partnering supply chain model which includes Asset Delivery Partners (ADP) and Primary Designer(s) (PD) working together in high performing integrated teams to deliver programmes of work. <br/><br/>The Enterprise model will have a dynamic outcome-based set of measures, with partners incentivised against service sub-programme and Enterprise outcomes and SW will have embedded resources within the Enterprise. There will also be minimum business performance thresholds in the form of KPI’s.<br/><br/>The Enterprise will incorporate enhanced partnering capabilities and a behavioural environment supporting closer resource integration, combined with a trading environment that also supports this approach. This will deliver affordability to support our investment targets, whilst also being adaptable and flexible enough to support changing requirements. <br/><br/>There will be collective focus on Beyond Zero Harm which helps us drive towards improving health, safety and wellbeing and partners will support Scottish Waters Beyond Net Zero ambitions.<br/><br/>This enterprise model procurement will be structured into two Lots: Lot 1 Primary Designer/s, Lot 2 Asset Delivery Partners

Architect-Led Design Team - Accrington Market Chambers

Hyndburn Borough Council (HBC) is currently in the Development Phase of a round 1 application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund which will focus on the redevelopment the listed Accrington Market Chambers (AMC) to create a new Heritage Museum, with the community, for the community. HBC wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and highly experienced Architect-Led Design Team (ALDT) to work with the Exhibition Design Specialist, Project Manager and Cost Consultant on the Pre-development, Development, and Delivery Phases - RIBA 2 to RIBA 6. This shall be in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work 2020. RIBA Stage 1 design has been completed. The firm(s) appointed to this ALDT role will be managed by HBC as PM. There will be a Lead Consultant in the ALDT who will be a primary point of contact between the ALDT and the PM. The deliverables for the project are: • Early appointment of the CDM Principal Designer, Building Regs Principal Designer, and Client CDM Advisor, to manage all Health and Safety matters, including discharge of all CDM duties (as Principal Designer) and all other Health and Safety duties under other legislation and best practice, liaison with the PM and Client on CDM and H&S matters during development, construction, and handover. • All surveys necessary to establish full scope of works. Costs of surveys will be allocated to a separate budget pot. • Planning permission (including general and specialist planning advice) and other Statutory Consents. • A 3D model of the building (requirement TBC) for use in the design, cost management and build process. • Detailed designs up to and including RIBA Stage 5 (Construction) for all design activities and disciplines, including on responses to Contractor design queries, materials approvals, and provision of information for effective contract administration. • Contribution to fully itemised Cost Plans for the Capital Works and production of relevant procurement documents. • Contribution to National Lottery Heritage Fund Delivery (Round 2) grant applications; experience of a National Lottery Heritage Fund capital project is required. • Assistance in procurement of Principal Contractor and delivery of Capital Works project. • A Management & Maintenance Plan Evaluation of the project on completion. Contribute to relevant post-completion activities, such as production of operation and maintenance manuals, lessons learnt exercises, community events, and so on. • Technical Advisor / Clerk of works / NEC Supervisor during RIBA 5 (dependent on main works contract chosen. Contract type TBC). Subject to satisfactory performance and funding being secured for the Delivery Phase, members of the ALDT may also be commissioned, through this same tender process, to work with the Project Manager and Cost Consultant to deliver the implementation of all building works, including service installations from initial concepts through to completion and handover.
