Description

The Council requires lone working devices to ensure the safety of staff that are working alone. Devices range from applications that can be downloaded on smart phones to two way communication equipment with fall detection, geographical tracking and timed activity. The contract also provides an alarm receiving centre that monitors any device activations and responds accordingly. Previously two suppliers were used and so this contract has been awarded to consolidate spend to a single supplier, offering better value for money and consistency across the Council.
