Description

NHS Shared Business Services act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework/Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). 
NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) has put in place a Framework Agreement for the provision of Design, Furniture and Appliances and related Goods and Services for Healthcare to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations.

CWC24096 - Removal Storage and Furniture Supply

Wolverhampton City Council requires suppliers to carry out the provision of supply, delivery and installation of furniture and the removal, storage, and transportation of furniture from both commercial and domestic properties in the West Midlands. The service will be for the City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) and Wolverhampton Homes (WH). Ther are two (2) lots, as detailed below: Lot 1 – Supply, Delivery, and Installation of Furniture Lot 2 – Removal, Storage and Transportation of Furniture The initial term of the contract will be for 3 years, with an option for the Council to extend for a further 1 year. The estimated contract start date for Lot 1 is the 1 April 2025 and for Lot 2 is the 1st January 2025. The estimated potential contract value over a period of 4 years is as follows, but please note: There is no guarantee of the level of spend on the contracts. The aims of this project are to: • replace and upgrade the existing play structures as pictured: • meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Documents to be submitted • Form of tender • Detailed quotation including o the total project cost of removal and disposal of existing equipment, o design (including illustration for assessment of play value), o installation, o resurfacing, o commissioning, o independent post-installation safety inspection. • An explanation of how materials and processes of installation will be environmentally sustainable. • An outline of expected timeline including a commitment to a completion date. • A summary of two similar projects that you have delivered successfully elsewhere with contact details for at least two referees. • Details for any subcontractors to be employed on the contract. • Confirmation that insurance for Public Liability is in place for all contractors working on the Contract with a minimum sum insured of £5,000,000. • Details of any warranties or guarantees provided. • Confirmation of compliance with BS EN 1176. • Copies of any test certificates that apply to the equipment.
