Description

This procurement has been undertaken as a mini-competition under the Cirrus Consortium Materials Framework, as detailed in Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 #102.

The mini-competition was split into 3 lots:

Lot 1 - General build materials (issued for suppliers under Lot 2: General building materials of the Cirrus Consortium Materials framework)

Lot 2 - Electrical materials (issued for suppliers under Lot 4: Electrical materials of the Cirrus Consortium Materials framework)

Lot 4 - Tool Hire (issued for suppliers under Lot 7: Tool Hire of the Cirrus Consortium Materials framework)

Karbon Homes wanted to engage with a single materials supplier per lot, for the provision of a range of materials from an existing branch (or branches) to support Karbon Homes internal maintenance team and other parts of the organisation as required.

Bidders could bid on one or more lots.

The contract will be for an initial 3 years with 1 option to extend by a further 2 years up to a maximum of 5 years (60 months) total contract term.

Bidders that had been awarded a place on the relevant Cirrus Consortium Materials Framework lots were able to submit a bid.

The estimated expenditure is based on historical data, however this is an estimate only. Annual expenditure is expected to increase year on year.

Please note: Lot 4: Tool Hire was not awarded
