Description

Devon County Council requires a consultant for the Gatehouse Repair and Conservation project to provide the following services:\r
\r
- Complete project design to RIBA Stage 4 \r
- Successfully deal with planning matters that arise, discharge any conditions imposed, and provide additional detailed drawings as required\r
- Preparation of Gatehouse Repair Procurement Brief: \r
- Gatehouse Repair Contractor Supervision.\r


Additional information: 
The authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement process at any stage. The authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender, and reserve the right not to award a contract. The authority reserves the right to award the contract in part, or to call for new tenders should they consider this necessary. Economic operators remain responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by them or by any third party acting under instructions from them in connection with their participation in this procurement, whether incurred directly by them or their advisors or subcontractors and regardless of whether such costs arise as a consequence direct or indirect of any amendments to documents issued by the authority at any time, or as a consequence of the cancellation of the procurement by the authority. For the avoidance of doubt, the authority shall have no liability whatsoever to economic
operators or their advisors or subcontractors, for any of their costs, including but not limited to those for any discussions or communications. Any contract(s) or agreement(s) entered into as a result of this contract notice shall be considered as a contract(s) or agreement(s) made under English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If an economic operator considers that any information supplied by it during this procurement process is commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for its sensitivity as well as the duration of that sensitivity specified. Economic operators should be aware that even where they have indicated that information is commercially sensitive, the authority may disclose it pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in response to a request for information where such disclosure is considered to be
in the public interest. Please note that the receipt by any of the authority of any materials marked 'confidential' or equivalent shall not be taken to mean that the authority accepts any  duty of confidence by virtue of that marking.

UKRI-4453 BAU Professional Services Framework

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in a construction and estate maintenance related professional services framework to support various building and civil engineering projects as part of the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The STFC intends to engage with potential providers through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the STFC to initiate, run or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the services described. The STFC is a world-leading research and innovation organisation, with a unique role within UKRI. The STFC is responsible for hosting and operating many of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary research facilities which are essential to delivering UKRI's collective ambitions. STFC are looking to establish a construction-related professional services framework to serve the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at some of the major facilities listed below - STFC Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire The Cosener's House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire Chilbolton Observatory, Stockbridge The following professional services capabilities are likely to be part of the framework requirements: Quantity surveying Cost management/ Cost modelling Project management Engineering services, for example civil, structural, electrical Planning support and advice Technical design Environmental and sustainability services Feasibility study Architectural and design services The exact Lotting strategy is expected to be finalised after the completion of this market engagement exercise. UKRI will be holding two Supplier Engagement Sessions at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory site on the following dates: 05 December 2024 and 09 December 2024. The sessions will last no more than 3 hours and a maximum of two attendees from each supplier organisation to register for the sessions (start time to be approx 10am, and will be confirmed). Suppliers will have the opportunity to confirm which Engagement Session they will be able to attend (the same information shall be presented on each day).
