Description

The Tender is to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of Procedure packs used in major surgery and minor surgery within both the acute and community sectors. It is envisaged that this tender will consist of the following twelve lots:
Lot 1 General Surgery and Vascular Surgery
Lot 2 Orthopaedics
Lot 3 Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Lot 4 Urology
Lot 5 ENT, Plastic and Dental Surgery
Lot 6 Cardio-thoracic
Lot 7 Cath Lab and Radiology
Lot 8 Neurosurgery
Lot 9 Ophthalmology
Lot 10 Speciality Packs
Lot 11 Primary Care Packs
Lot 12 Mini-competition Lot
The number of suppliers per lot will not be limited. The duration of the Agreement will be 4 years maximum with the successful Tenderer; being an initial 2 years period and the option to extend by 2 period of 12 months each, after the initial period

Supply of First Aid Kits and empty Bags for First Aid Kit Modules

Team Leidos are proud to be delivering the logistics commodities and services transformation (LCS(T)) Delivery partner contracts (LCS (T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) (the ‘Prime Contract’). Delivery of other parts of the LCS(T) contract are delivered by Leidos Europe Ltd (LEL) and other partners (together ‘Team Leidos’). This requirement is subject to the Public Procurement Regulations and respective advertising action. The Leidos Medical Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd. is considering the potential requirement for the supply of First Aid Kits and Empty Bags for First Aid Kit Modules on behalf of the UK MoD. The total estimated value for this Framework Agreement will be between £350,000 and £650,000, with a total length of 4 Years. In addition, please note that as a framework agreement there is no guarantee of business. Supply of First Aid Kits and empty Bags for First Aid Kit Modules

In April 2015, the MOD signed a thirteen year contract with Leidos Europe Ltd to provide the procurement and inventory management of commodity items (as well as the storage and distribution services), that were historically provided in-house by the Logistic Commodities and Services Operating Centre. Leidos, working with the MOD, will transform the way these services are delivered to ensure requirements continue to be met whilst providing best value for money for the department. The organisation delivering these services is known as Team Leidos. Team Leidos would like to make markets aware that we are intending to consider approaches that could fulfill our Supply of First Aid Kits and empty Bags for First Aid Kit Modules requirements. It is the aim of this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice (PMEN) to encourage companies, suppliers, or manufacturers to make us aware and provide as much information as they are comfortable with, to help decide the future strategy for the range. Team Leidos wishes to generate interest, information and views with other companies to understand the current market innovation and gain useful intelligence that can help our requirement.
