Description

The Supplier is working with HDR UK to support with strategic and operational support for the PEDRI Initiative to meet the objectives of the DARE UK Community Group funding. The Supplier will develop a work package in order to support with the following main initiatives;
•	The active expansion of PEDRI partner organisations
•	The embedding of public members into PEDRI
•	The development of a programme of community activities with PEDRI acting as a convener. Suggested activities have included bi-monthly online community meetings to share learnings and sector activities. Each meeting to have a subject focus.
•	Development of the draft Best Practice Standards ("BPS") to a final published PEDRI BPS. The partners to agree a process of adoption of the standards at each partner organisation and how they should be widely disseminated.

The supplier as identified 4 areas of priority along with the HDR UK PPIE Team for PEDRI;
1.	Stakeholder Growth and Investment - The Supplier will work with the strategic lead and the PEDRI delivery Group to develop a scoping plan for new partners, in particular focusing on those outside of health who work with data and statistics and explore avenues for further investment in PEDRI. 
Milestones: Scoping to be completed by the end of January 2024, meeting and onboarding new partners from beginning of February 2024 until the end of April 2024.
2.	Business Planning: The Supplier will co-develop a business plan with the PEDRI delivery group specific to the initiatives set out above. The plan must prioritise finalising the BPS for Public Involvement and Engagement in Data Research and Statistics.
Milestones: Support monthly delivery meetings, delivery of two workshops on best practice for public involvement and engagement - dates to be agreed between HDR UK and the Supplier 
3.	Activities and Outputs Related to DARE UK Funding: The Supplier will develop a plan, focusing on the development of PEDRI standards, appropriate community activities and knowledge sharing, working closely with HDR UK PPIE team and partners in this development.
4.	The Supplier will consult with PEDRI delivery team to support reporting of outcomes of engagement activities to provide feedback and guidance to the PEDRI team following community activities related to the DARE UK bid.
Deliverables
The Supplier will provide strategic and operational support to the HDRUK PPIE team for PEDRI, to meet the objectives of the HDR UK DARE UK community group funding. The Supplier will support business development and will act as an extension to the PEDRI team.
