The Department for Business and Trade (DBT), Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) is the appointed market surveillance authority, responsible for enforcing the Construction Product Regulations (CPR) within the UK.
OPSS will carry out assessments and testing to determine the current levels of
compliance in the construction products sector in the UK in line with Construction Product Regulation requirements.

In the event that a single bidder achieves the highest overall evaluation score for both lots, Lot 2 shall take precedence. In such circumstances, the bidder will be awarded Lot 2, and Lot 1 will be awarded to the next highest-ranked tenderer for that lot. A separate contract will be awarded for each lot, and each lot shall be awarded to one bidder.

Contract for the Compliance with Reg 14 (Glazing)

This tender is issued to allow Swansea Council (predominately its Building Maintenance section) to engage with a contractor to carry out works to comply with requirements as set out in Regulation 14 of The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992.
