Description
Award Services to support with the implementation of new services, suppliers, architectures and processes in line with Organisations programmes specification and strategy. Variation This increases the value of the contract from £10,000,000 as originally published on Contracts Finder, to £14,625,000. This variation is being made in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The services provided under the contract remain the same, but due to this contract being utilised more than expected there is a necessity to extend. The business has realised the advantages of the contract and used this extensively. NHS England have also used this contract more than expected meaning we have run down the value quicker than expected. The cost and time constraints of reprocuring this contract during the merger would mean we would have potential gaps in delivery. We would be using various people's time to evaluate a contract whilst we are unsure of how this contract will look in the future. Waiting until after the merger would allow our next procurement to be suitable across all pre-merger organisations.
