Oxford Direct Services (ODS) and Oxford Direct Services Trading Ltd (ODSTL), provide highway maintenance and minor civils services to Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council and private customers. 
      ODS is seeking to put together a framework of contractors that can undertake minor civils, small works and landscaping works for the Highways & Engineering department. 
      
      1. The works comprise of (minor civils, small works and landscaping) on the highway or private land. The works will include surfacing, slab/ block laying, fencing, landscaping, drainage etc
      2. Traffic management to be provided by the Contractor unless informed otherwise.
      3. Road markings will be replaced by others.
      4. From time to time, night working will be required. For the purpose of this contract night working will be defined as the period between 19:00 and 07:00 hours. 
      5. Contractors with and without NRSWA Street works qualifications are invited to tender. Contractors that do not hold NRSWA Street works will be limited to undertaking work on private land, whereas those with NRSWA Street works will be permitted to undertake work on the public Highway. 
      6. All Works are to be constructed to British Standards as set out in Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB).

Management and maintenance of the site post-construction will be carried out by New Milton Town Council (NMTC). See Appendix B - Outcome Specification for further details.
