This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under Crown Commercial Services RM6187 Management Consultancy Framework Three (MCF3) Lot 3.

Brief Description of Requirement

The Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) require a supplier to conduct a discovery exercise to help better understand the data held, its architecture and the data user needs of the department, which will support us to establish and set the roadmap and priorities for the new Chief Data Officer function, as well as explore the feasibility of applying novel new models of data governance in a department with a mixed portfolio of data from a range of different sources.

Potential to develop partnership with Deangate Bowls Club. • Feasibility of changing former clubhouse building into a community, visitor centre or retail unit. • Former groundskeeper shed to be repurposed into a volunteer space. • Look at the feasibility of off-site facilities including a toilet block (compost toilets). Additional elements based at Grain Coastal Park • Feasibility of Catering unit • A new Toilet Block All of the above will need to be assessed. Options and associated costs will be required for each individual element. These will all need to be included in a final report along with a professional recommendation. A site visit within the first two weeks of the contract start date is expected, with Medway Council officer(s) in attendance.
