Description

Liskeard Town Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide a Christmas Lighting Display in Liskeard Town Centre for three years (Christmas 2023, 2024 and 2025). The scheme of work involves design, supply, installation, maintenance, removal and storage of leased Christmas lights and decorations annually. The Council is looking for new designs and ideas, with a Cornish theme, and is interested in eco-friendly displays, e.g. energy efficient LEDs, solar options, etc.

The lights need to go up in the first half of November and be taken down in January.

The Council's representative(s) is available to meet contractors for site visits at a mutually agreeable time by arrangement with the Facilities Manager, Jacqui Orange [email protected] or 01579 559  562

For: The appointment of an appropriate organisation for the supply, installation, removal, storage, maintenance of Christmas Lights and maintenance of associated infrastructure Introduction and Background to the Project / Programme Macclesfield Town Council intends to implement the wish of the town community to provide uplifting town centre Christmas light displays Macclesfield Town Council is looking for an arms length commercial organisation to supply, install, remove, store, maintain town centre Christmas Lights and to ensure the appropriate maintenance of associated infrastructure for a period of 3 years. The appointed supplier will be expected to deliver the goods and/or provide services at the offices for Macclesfield Town Council, Macclesfield Town Hall, Macclesfield SK10 1EA and as agreed around the town centre. Macclesfield Town Council's contracting and commercial approach in respect of the required goods and/or services is set out at Annex 1 (Terms and Conditions of contract) ("Contract"). By submitting a tender response, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this ITT and the Contract without further negotiation or amendment. The Contract awarded will be for a duration of the required works dependent upon access, statutory permissions, consultation and satisfactory performance against quality objectives. In the event that you have any concerns or queries in relation to the Contract, you should submit a clarification request in accordance with the provisions of this ITT by the Clarification Deadline (as defined below in the Timescales section of this ITT). Following such clarificationrequests, Macclesfield Town Council may issue a clarification change to the Contract that will apply to all potential suppliers submitting a tender response. Macclesfield Town Council is under no obligation to consider any clarifications / amendments to the Contract proposed following the Clarification Deadline, but before the Tender Response Deadline (as defined below in the Timescales section of this ITT). Any proposed amendments that received from a potential supplier as part of its tender response shall entitle Macclesfield Town Council to reject that tender response and to disqualify that potential supplier from this Procurement Process.
