Stamford Brook Sewer Diversion Diversion of the Stamford Brook Sewer at the Old Oak Common site, including the Micro Boring works under the Great West Main Line and North Pole Depot New 1200mm int. dia. sewer that runs within central box footprint, supported at ground level within a reinforced concrete trough (R.C Trough provided by others. Construction of two deep manholes, including live connection to existing Thames Water 'egg' sewer. New 1200mm int. dia. sewer that will be pipe jacked under the GWML tracks and North Pole Depot from a launch pit located within the Wormwood Scrubs to a receiving pit connecting the sewer to Phase 2. Length of Pipe Jack 160m. New 450mm internal diameter sewer running south westerly connecting new 1200m sewer to the existing Thames sewer (live connection at low flows). Length of 450mm pipe run, 350m with association manhole chamber. Logistic for material in and out of site constrained by access vi Braybrook Street. Sub-contractor to be self-sufficient within Wormwood Scrubs providing all temp services, welfare, and security. Sub-contractor to gain approval from Thames Water with regards construction methods and live connections at upstream and downstream locations. Supply chain will need to demonstrate their specialist knowledge in: Thames Water Approved Contractor Status Micro Boring Expertise Deep Drainage Works Temporary Works Ability to competently work in the Railway environment Programme March 2020 commence detailed planning, SHEQ documentation approval with all parties, temporary works design and approvals, fabrication design and approvals. Commence site clearance and site set up in July 2020 (post nesting season) Complete drainage and pipe jacking Sep 2020 to Jan 2021. Feb 2020 commission live sewer. Mar 2020 reinstate landscape and demobilise. Respondents to this opportunity should be advised that shortlisted applicants will be invited to tender through an external ERP system. The exact scoring criteria are currently being developed by BBVS, and shortlisted suppliers will be invited to register for the ERP system in due course. What is clear at this stage is that tenders will be scored competitively across a range of criteria, such as, but not limited to: Commercial, Programme, Methodology, HSEQ, Capability and Capacity. In 2018, Balfour Beatty, VINCI and Systra (BBVS) created a strategic alliance to deliver major infrastructure projects for HS2, in particular the Terminus at Old Oak Common.
