Description

The NHSBSA needs access to short notice capability and capacity to deliver digital services on behalf of our sponsors (e.g. DHSC) and stakeholders.

NHSBSA is looking to place individuals/teams within 5-10 working days to be able to deliver these digital services and implement changes to services in short timelines.

A competition was ran through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS) 4 framework.

Quality Assurance and Testing for IT Systems 2 extension notice

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is setting up a dynamic purchasing system for a period of 48 months and is inviting bidders to request to participate forthe Quality Assurance and Testing for IT Systems 2 DPS. This DPS will provide central government and wider public sector departments the opportunity to procure Quality Assurance and Testing services from a range of suppliers. The DPS filters are for services, location, clearance and scalability. If you are successfully appointed to the DPS you will be invited by customers (buyers) to submit tenders for relevant services through a competition. This DPS remains open for any supplierto request to participate throughout its 48 month duration. CCS reserve the right to reduce, extend orterminate the DPS period at any time during its lifetime in accordance with the terms set out in the DPS Agreement. Additional information: This DPS was scheduled to expire on 1 December 2023. We are exercising the extension option to maintain service provision while we review the future design of this agreement to enable a thorough analysis and market/customer engagement to be conducted, before a strategic decision can be made on the next iteration of this agreement. We are extending QAT2 until 1 July 2025. Please note the Closing Date, Contract Start Date and Contract End Date have been manipulated to support compatibility system issues. However please refer to the FTS contract notice for the correct dates, timelines etc.

This notice is to advise that this DPS has been extended to 13/02/2027 and based on current spend profiling the estimated total value has been increased to £800million.
