Description

The Broads Peat Partnership will deliver a Nature for Climate Peatland Discovery Project. Covering 13 sites in each valley of the Broads National Park, including 7 delivery partners (Broads Authority, Natural England, National Trust, Norfolk FWAG, RSPB, Norfolk and Suffolk Wildlife Trusts, Palladium and a number of private landowners): (Palladium are responsible for developing a new economic model to blend public and private finance). 

The Broads Authority invites you to tender for ecological (vegetation and water vole), hydrological, peat and historic environment surveys to prepare sites for Restoration from 2023. 

Seven work packages can be bid for separately or in combination. The work packages, covering the 13 sites, are: 
•	Hydrological assessment
•	Peat survey
•	Vegetation survey
•	Protected Species - water vole study
•	Historic Environment Assessment 
•	Development of site Monitoring and Restoration Plans

The output of this work will directly lead towards the restoration of these sites for nature, carbon and water management in further planned grant schemes.
