Description

This is a voluntary ex ante transparency notice and is intended to provide notice of the Authority's intention to award a contract to deliver a Primary Care Pathology Service.
NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board have reviewed pathology services delivered within the 
Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System.
The ICB intends to award the contract for the delivery of these services to NHS West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust working together to deliver Pathology needs within SNEE ICB.  
East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and NHS West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust will be awarded the contracts as they are uniquely placed to continue to deliver the primary care pathology services for the locality. 
The acute trusts have an integrated provision which includes delivery of pathology services for all acute divisions, community services and primary care.  It is believed that retaining this configuration is in the best interest of the patients and the Integrated Care System.

DFI - DVA - The DVA requires a Supplier to provide assessments in relation to fitness to drive. The contract will be let in two LOTS. LOT1 is Provision of Fitness to Drive Assessment Service relates to the a paper based assessment of medical fitness to drive carried out by the supplier’s medical practitioner staff and LOT2 is the provision of Specialist Medical Advisory Service to provide a specialist medical advisory service for LOT2 of this tender , conducted by the supplier’s specialist consultant staff where it is considered that a specialist assessment is required in order to determine whether the driver meets the relevant medical standard on fitness to drive.

The Authority invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers (“Suppliers”) for the delivery of an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Service on the Isle of Wight. The Authority and its partners are committed to providing a universal, high quality, consistent and integrated Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) service that supports the Islands Poverty Reduction Strategy 2024-2029 aims and objectives. This service will play an important role in promoting wellbeing, improving wellbeing and protecting wellbeing, aligned to the poverty reduction strategy in providing coordinated and community approaches to tackle this. Good information (which is current, relevant and accurate) is essential for all adults and their relatives who need or may need support to protect their wellbeing and to live independently. Good information should help people to make informed choices, enable them to take control and help individuals, families, and carers to maintain their abilities, skills, independence and community resilience well into the future. This service is designed to be outcome focused, to encourage suppliers to develop flexible and innovative approaches to delivery of the IAG service to the local community across the Isle of Wight. The overall annual budget for this Tender is up to the value of £186k (exc. VAT). For full details of the specification requirements can be found in the Specification Document. The contract period is from 1st March 2026 until 28th February 2029 with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months at the sole discretion of the Authority.
