The Supply and Delivery of Food and Drink Products to Lancashire County Council

Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT to secure a multi-lotted supplier framework for the supply of food and drink products, including fresh provisions fresh meat, groceries, frozen food products, fresh baked products and soft drinks/snacks. The Framework is separated into twenty-three (23) lots and the requirements are as follows. The required goods for Lots 1 to 21 are to be supplied and delivered into the Authority's appointed distributor, Ralph Livesey Ltd whose distribution hub addresses are: Fresh Food Distribution Hub, Unit 72B, Roman Way, Off Longridge Road, Preston, PR2 5BE And Unit 7 Green Acre Park Howard Street Bolton BL1 8HN Deliveries of the products supplied by the successful supplier(s) for Lots 1 to 21 will then be made by the Distributor to over 500 units county-wide. The majority of these units are educational establishments (Primary and High Schools / Colleges) but to also the Authority's Residential Care Sites. Lots 22 and 23 are to be supplied and directly delivered to the Authority's customers. Lot 22 is for the supply and delivery of fresh bread, morning goods and sweet baked products to approximately 500 units including schools, colleges and residential care homes. Lot 23 is for the the supply and delivery of soft drinks, crisps and confectionery products to over 70 units, including high schools, care homes and Authority corporate sites. The initial Framework term is 2 years, the Authority may in its absolute discretion, exercise the option to extend the term by any number of defined periods, so long as the maximum duration of the framework agreement does not exceed 4 years.
