National Services Scotland(NSS)acting through its division, National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement on behalf of itself and on behalf of all entities within NHS Scotland(“Boards”)to procure a service which will provide Medical Ward Equipment to all Boards(“Purchasing Entities”)at each of their sites. The NHS in Scotland requires a contractor(s) to provide Medical Ward Equipment including but not limited to the following: i) Ward Equipment including various trolleys ii) Examination Couches The contractor must be able to supply the full range of products within each lot to all NHS Scotland Health Boards throughout Scotland.

The Authority was seeking to appoint Contractor(s) capable of providing sustainable solutions for the supply, delivery and installation of Furniture to the higher education (HE) institutions and further education (FE)institutions of Scotland, to institutions throughout Scotland, and Skills Development Scotland and other organisations as detailed at https://www.apuc-scot.ac.uk/#!/members. This will include encouraging and facilitating re-use via repair and refurbishment of existing products as well as offering a re-use of redundant furniture by other parties and other circular economy solutions aimed at extending the life of products and reducing the associated embedded carbon impact.
