DfI Transport and Road Asset Management - Provision of Service and Maintenance of Commercial Vehicles over 3500kg

The Department has a need to establish a call-off contractual arrangement, for each of its workshops across Northern Ireland in order to support in-house maintenance operations. Each contract is designed to provide the Department with a facility to have guaranteed work undertaken owing to not having sufficient in-house technical personnel to meet operational requirements. Should this change during the term of this contract the Department reserves the right to change the work from guaranteed scheduled work to non-guaranteed unscheduled work. This may be on a workshop by workshop basis. Each lot will be evaluated independently and there is no limit to the number of Lots that any one Economic Operator can be awarded. Forest Service wishes to invite tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Spare Parts for Plant and Equipment. Forest Service anticipates establishing a multi-lot Contract(s) with suppliers for the provision of these parts. Forest Service currently carries out servicing and repair of a range of plant and Equipment at Engineering Workshops across Northern Ireland (see Specification Section 6.2). The aim of this Contract is to enable Forest Service to establish call-off arrangements for the Supply and Delivery of Spare Parts for Plant and Equipment. It is intended that, via this arrangement, Forest Service will be able to source all Spare Parts necessary to enable the effective repair and maintenance of the fleet of plant and equipment. The overall objective is to deliver value for money and cash releasing savings for the organisation. The Contract will be structured into 12 Lots based on Plant type. A Contractor will be awarded for each Lot.
