Approved Providers List for the provision of Therapeutic Support Services

The requirement is to develop a list of Service Providers who can deliver an increased range of therapeutic support services to families and individuals. This requirement has arisen from the regions intention, supported by but not dependent on the Government’s Adoption Support Fund Initiative to improve support to adoptive families and others. The value detailed under section II.1.5 is an estimated value as the service is demand lead. There is no guarantee of work to any supplier appointed to the Approved Providers List for Therapeutic Services.

TC102 - Adoption Now Therapeutic Services Flexible Purchasing System (FPS)

The Borough Council of Bolton ("the Lead Authority") on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Bury Council, Oldham Borough Council, Rochdale Borough Council and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (known as "Adoption Now) is prepared to receive tenders for an Adoption Now Therapeutic Services Flexible Purchasing System, which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed.\r \r The Flexible Purchasing System will comprise of selected therapeutic service providers for adopted children and adoptees. These services are mostly funded through The Adoption Support Fund. Families will be assessed for suitability by Adoption Now.\r \r It will be split into 4 Lots:\r Lot 1 - Psychotherapy\r Lot 2 - Family Therapy\r Lot 3 - Creative Therapy\r Lot 4 - Specialist Assessments\r \r The Authority will award places on the FPS to suppliers that meet the evaluation criteria.
