Skills and Confidence Building: Connect 5 equips individuals with the skills and confidence to engage in mental wellbeing conversations. Participants learn how to talk with others about their mental health and wellbeing effectively. Local Services and Support: The training emphasizes understanding local mental health and wellbeing services. Participants learn how to guide people toward seeking support from these services. Principles of 'Making Every Contact Count': Connect 5 aligns with the principle of making the best use of frontline staff's skills and local contacts. It encourages proactive conversations in various contexts, such as workplaces and communities. The training consists of three modules, each approximately 3 hours long. Module 1 introduces participants to Connect 5, while Modules 2 and 3 build on the foundational knowledge, covering topics like suicide awareness and self-help tools.

Autism and ADHD Early Help Community Hub for Adults Hampshire Place

he purpose of the community hub will be to provide early intervention on community living, life skills, further education/employment, financial and housing advice to adults (18+) with autism and or ADHD, regardless of diagnostic status. The hubs will support those who are pre-diagnosis, without a formal diagnosis and those with a formal diagnosis. The service provides peer support both on a 1-2-1 basis, face to face groups and online. Activity will focus on drop-in sessions for advice, support and signposting, activity groups encouraging skills development, life skills workshops and emotional support and advocacy delivered via the community hub. The hubs will be expected to engage with a minimum of 120 adults, multiple times throughout the year who live within the vicinity of the hub; • Andover/Basingstoke - covering Test Valley and Basingstoke Borough Council areas • A3M corridor - covering Havant and South East Hants Borough Councils

Community Wellbeing Workers Service (CWWS)

Hampshire County Council are looking for provider(s) to deliver the Community Wellbeing Workers Service across the Hampshire geography (excluding Portsmouth and Southampton). Older Adults community teams in Adults' Health and Care routinely work with individuals aged 65+, and their carers, who are often facing difficult and complex circumstances. The Community Wellbeing Worker service will provide short term, preventative support to these individuals, and will draw upon local community resources as required. The primary aim of the service is to enable individuals to increase their independence and to reduce their potential need for current or future involvement from adult social care services. The Service has been divided into 8 lotted contracts, with geographical breakdowns: Lot A - Andover Lot B - Basingstoke Lot C - Eastleigh Lot D - Fareham & Gosport Lot E -Havant North & South Lot F - New Forest East & West Lot G - Rushmoor Lot H - Winchester The Council have received funding up to the value of £240,000.00 for a period of one year. The funding will be divided between the Lots at a value of £30,000.00 per Lot.
