Disposables 065-2023 Supply of Disposables, Chemicals & Consumables at MCCCL

Manchester Central is currently looking for a Contractor to provide Disposable products, which include Consumables and Chemicals, at Manchester Central, Runway Visitors Park and Manchester Town Hall Complex. The Contract will be for a period of Two (2) years from the commencement date of services with the option to extend for a further Twelve (12) months with an anticipated Contract start date of December 2023, with a contract value of circa £234k. The successful supplier will provide Disposables for various event types including retail, conferences, exhibitions, corporate and numerous functions and meetings across both sites. Given the dynamic nature of the events industry, the supplier will need to respond to last minute orders with an expected next day delivery, including potential Saturday and Sunday orders. The Contractor must be able to cater to any of Manchester Central clients' bespoke orders in line with their event. They must also be able to continue to supply our current bespoke and branded items and be flexible with any additional branding and bespoke requests. Samples of certain products may be requested as part of the tender evaluation.

Coffee 066-2024 Supply of Coffee Products at Manchester Central Convention Complex

Manchester Central is currently looking for a supplier to supply: 1. Bean to Cup machine specification • Meeting room bean to cup machines offering a full range of hot drinks and hot chocolate options. • Supply a minimum of 13 machines. • Coffee Machines need to have a capacity of 150 plus coffees per day and work on mobile locations with or without a flow pump. • Coffee Machine must have a fresh milk capacity. • Machines to run on 13amp power. • Machines will need to provide a minimum of the below products; - Americano - Espresso - Latte - Cappuccino - Flat White - Hot Chocolate - All of the above to be served in an 8oz cup. 2. Supply of ground coffee for use in Bravilor bulk brew machines • Ground coffee to be provided in either 500g or 1kg bags and must be suitable for use in Bravilor bulk brew machines. These machines are owned by Manchester Central. There is no requirement to provide bulk brew machines within this tender process, just bean to cup machines, as detailed above. The successful supplier will be providing services to Manchester Central Convention Complex, Manchester Town Hall Complex, Runway Visitors Park and Central Library cafés. Estimated annual spend is circa £70k. Spend is estimated on current supply. Manchester Central are unable to guarantee such levels of purchasing. The Contract will be for a period of three (3) years from the commencement date of services, with a client only option to extend for up to an additional twelve (12) months. The anticipated Contract start date is 1st May 2024. As a world-class international convention centre, Manchester Central requires products of the highest quality. The successful supplier will provide coffee products for all onsite retail operations and hospitality events where an excess of 10,000 cups are served per day. Given the dynamic nature of the events industry, the supplier will be expected to respond to orders as required, potentially with a last minute or same day delivery, including Saturday and Sunday orders. Manchester Central currently use three different types of coffee machines to aid event delivery with further information listed in the next section. • Bean to cup machines (to be supplied in this contract) • Traditional barista machines (owned by Manchester Central) • Bravilor bulk brew machines (owned by Manchester Central) The successful supplier will be contracted to provide a full maintenance service and detailed SLA on all callouts. Security & Stewarding Services 067-2024 Provision of Event Security and Stewarding Services at MCCCL

Manchester Central is currently looking for a Contractor to provide and manage workers for event services consisting of security and stewarding. The successful Contractor will be committed to the development of the security and stewarding function and will provide competent staff members who have received the relevant training applied to such roles. The Contractor will ensure that personnel onsite at Manchester Central are NOT self-employed OR zero-hour employees. Flexible working arrangements via annualised hours or casual contracts for service arrangements are permissible. Members of staff will be providing services to clients and delegates at Manchester Central, and therefore must be fully conversant, fitting in with Manchester Central's values. The Contract period will be for three (3) years with the option to extend for up to an additional two (2) years. It is intended for the contract to commence on 1st August 2024. The Contractor shall offer Manchester Central internal and external clients a professional and effective level of management, with regard to the fulfilment of the service, including but not limited to the following key responsibilities: • They will deliver exceptional customer service and expertise at the level expected by Manchester Central and clients, in conjunction with Manchester Centrals Head of Security and event management teams. • The provision of such number and types of management and SIA licensed staff and trained stewards as may be necessary to operate the event at any appropriate time on days of events to reasonably meet event needs. • The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring sufficient SIA licensed staff and stewards are available as outlined in the deployment schedule provided by Manchester Central. • The Contractor shall ensure that staff are provided with sufficient assignment instructions and briefings to deliver the required service provision ahead of each event. • Given the dynamic nature of the event industry, the Contractor will be expected to react and respond to service provision queries or operational demands at short notice. • The Contractor will be responsible for providing all staff with name badges and formal identification, and sufficient levels of communications devices to successfully operate the event. (Radios will be provided by Manchester Central) • The Contractor will be responsible for providing all staff with adequate uniform, design and style to be discussed. • The Contractor will be responsible for providing all staff with sufficient safety / PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). • Operational representatives, event security operatives and stewards must work alongside the Manchester Central event management team to ensure a cultural fit.
