Leicestershire County Council Office Furniture

\r The objectives of the procurement are: \r â€¢ Gain support from experienced furniture suppliers in identification of suitable furniture options for a number of buildings/ spaces outlined in detail within the requirements section below. \r â€¢ The desired purpose/function of each of these office areas is outlined alongside a visual outline of the space. We are specifically seeking proposals which include space planning, recommended product and cost in line with our pricing and quality criteria. \r â€¢ Products need to promote productivity and wellbeing for staff utilising these spaces. \r â€¢ Additional consideration to acoustic properties to be outlined where possible, particularly in relation to areas with call taking activity/ break out spaces in proximity to larger desk numbers. \r â€¢ Products need to align to infrastructure such as power and lighting and our existing décor including carpets, wall colours/manifestations. A site visit would be preferred to advise on a suitable scheme which aligns to existing infrastructure. Floor plans and photographs are included within the requirements section, and we are also able to supply DWG files and additional visual images of the spaces.\r â€¢ There is no requirement for furniture proposed to exactly match existing furniture at our sites, although each team has distinct needs an element of consistency across the areas would be welcomed. \r â€¢ We ideally require full receipt of goods within 8 weeks or sooner of when the order is placed. \r â€¢ Due to our current financial constraints within the authority, we are seeking best value on cost as well as quality. Quotations for products must be within the maximum budget limit of each area as outlined in the specifications. All costs should include delivery and installation \r â€¢ Through the procurement we need to understand full product details including warranty information, lead times and product sheets. \r

695_24 Design and Refurbishment Solutions for Libraries, Learning Resource Centres and Other Indoor Public Spaces

A framework for the provision of design and refurbishment solutions, to include the full design, sourcing, delivery, and installation of project for libraries and other indoor spaces. The framework is not limited to local authority premises and can be accessed for a wide scope of requirements including but not limited to education settings. Lot 1 - Design and Refurbishment Solutions for Libraries Lot 2 - Design and Refurbishment Solutions for Indoor Public Spaces (excluding libraries) The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated value stated includes the option period. ESPO shall monitor the financial stability of the awarded suppliers during the period of the Framework Agreement by reference to credit rating agency reports. ESPO shall obtain a credit score for the suppliers on or before the Framework start date as a base score and where a significant change is identified over the life of the Framework Agreement, ESPO reserves the right to investigate the reasons for this significant change. Depending on the severity of the offences involved, it will be at the sole discretion of ESPO to suspend or even permanently remove the supplier from the Framework Agreement. The successful Supplier may be asked to enter into an additional separate framework agreement (the Second Framework) with ESPO Trading Limited on materially similar terms to that found in the tender pack to be entered into by ESPO itself. Any Second Framework agreement will be a purely commercial agreement and will, for the avoidance of doubt, not be governed by the Public Contract Regulations 2015 or other public procurement legislation. ESPO Trading Limited may enter into the second framework agreement with the successful supplier and make it available to third sector clients who themselves are not required to follow the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or other public procurement legislation. Accordingly, this is provided for bidders information only. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.

The DaDa building refers to a new 10 storey flagship building to house the School of Design and Digital Arts, located at 42 Shakespeare Street, at Nottingham Trent University's City Campus. The Design and Digital Arts Building (DaDA) is one of the School's foundations for their vision to become a leading institution for the digital arts. As one of the first dedicated centres for the creative industries, it will be a place that attracts talented critical thinkers, designers, storytellers, performers and technical experts from around the world to work with industry and our national and international partners on collaborations that blend digital, technological, business and creative practices. In terms of furniture provision, we have produced a schedule of furniture to detail the quality and design ethos of this very important space for some of the key items. We would require the tenderer to price the prescriptive list but also consider and suggest alternatives to demonstrate quality, innovation and understanding of the project brief.
