Cost Management Support for PMST Agile Projects

The Authority is engaging a consultant with the capability and capacity to deliver the required cost management services under an enabling contract arrangement through call-offs against the contract. The contract will initially be for 2 years with the option to extend for a further year. Services that may be called off from the contract are: - Provide high level costs for the next financial year's projects to inform the yearly budget. - provide multiple costings per project instructed through the different RIBA stages, including project spend profiles for the lifecycle of the project. - Provide tender support for evaluation of commercial tender submissions for the project, including a commercial tender report. - Provide cost estimates and assessments of Contractor led variations for projects in accordance with NEC4 terms and conditions ensuring value for money. - Provide training sessions to the PMST team of project leaders around project costings. - Manage the schedule of costing exercises and provide updates at monthly progress meetings. - Provide Earned Value Management Information to the project leaders on specific projects, when required. - Provide post completion spend analysis. - Provide project management services (Project Managers with NEC4 experience) for projects if required. The estimated total value of this contract is based on historic data and includes the possible optional extension year, though it should be noted that the Authority cannot guarantee that call-offs over the term of the contract, and any allowable extension, will amount to the estimate as this will rely entirely on project throughput.

National Framework for Professional Services in Construction and Premises 2024

The Education Alliance are establishing a framework of consultants for professional services in construction and premises contracts within the UK excluding Scotland. The framework will cover projects including, but is not limited to, new builds, extensions, refurbishments, housing builds, multi-complex builds, works covering the railway industry, infrastructure projects, etc. The procurement was a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 open procedure. The framework agreement will be established for a period of 3 years from April 2024, with the option to extend for a further period of 1 year, at the discretion of the contracting authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The framework will be split in to 23 separate lots, which will operate with a maximum of 1 consultant for lot 1, and for lots 2 to 23, a maximum of 9 consultants per region per lot.

The Victoria and Albert Museum wished to enter into non-exclusive framework agreements with professional services consultants, to provide project management and quantity surveyor services as and when required on individual projects in each of the following disciplines: 1.Project Management 2.Quantity Surveyor Individual projects may range from £250,000 to £10,000,000 and may comprise small advisory requirements through to work on major construction/design projects.
