Pre-Formed Hedging

Great Missenden Parish Council require 170m of preformed hedging to surround an open space along four boundary edges. The requirement is for the supply and installation of a fully formed beech hedge (fagus sylvatica) that is 1.5m high. It must also include:- - compost/soil conditioner - irrigation system - automatic irrigation controller - dripper pipe along hedge runs There is a requirement for pedestrian access gaps in the hedging. The tender responses should include all relevant tools, equipment and machinery to carry out this work. It should also require a cost for the removal and disposal of approximately 150 x 1m high wooden posts that are currently in place along the field boundary. Please could you also provide:- -Information and background about your company -Details about how you would propose to carry out the work on this contract, including if the site would need to be closed from users, how long the work will take, what security will be in place of any machinery or tools left on site -References demonstrating your suitability of carrying out this type of work -A copy of your PLI insurance certificate -Examples of any similar jobs completed Tenders should be posted to Great Missenden Parish Council in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Clerk and marked 'Hedging Tender' by 5.00pm Tuesday 24th November 2020. Please note - incomplete tenders will unfortunately not be considered.

Prestwood Common Track

Construction of approximately 525m track at 1.5m wide around the perimeter of Prestwood Common. This includes four link paths at the respective entrances. The track is intended as an all weather track for the purpose of walking and jogging and must be of a suitable surface for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The material used needs to be environmentally friendly, offer effective drainage, be durable and easily maintainable. A cinder type surface is initially being considered with a requirement for a 150cm sub-base. However other surfaces meeting the above criteria will be considered.

Community Centre - Refurbishment

Great Missenden Parish Council are looking to externally refurbish the exterior of a single storey wooden Community Centre in Prestwood. This is a temporary building with a life expectancy of 15 years. The exterior requires making good, weatherproofing and decorating. Plastic boarding is being considered as a low maintenance solution. The council would consider other options, and these would need to be itemised separately in the tender. All solutions should be able to withstand impact of balls from the nearby sports wall and football pitch. Please send your tender, addressed to the clerk, in a sealed envelope marked 'Prestwood Community Centre - Refurbishment', to arrive no later than Thursday 12th November2020.
