The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) (‘the Authority’) acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement of Indwelling Urinary Catheters & Drainage Bags (‘Products’) as outlined further below on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS Organisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively hereafter referred to as ‘Participating Authorities’).

Urinary catheters and accessories, External urinary catheters and sheaths, Urine drainage bags and accessories, Urine flow monitoring systems, Gels - medicated and non medicated, Bladder washout solutions, Urine collection devices, Enurisis alarms, Ultrasonic bacterial anti adhesion system for urinary catheters, Bowel and faecal management products, Enema tips and bags, stoma appliances and accessories, wound and fistula management, Urodynamic/surgery products, Skin care and protection, Chyme infusion management and Urethral Bulking Agents. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £28,500,000 to £30, 000,000 inc VAT in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. The estimated value over the total framework agreement term is £120,000,000 inc VAT.
