Hook Parish Council Playground Inspections Contractor 2024-2028

Hook Parish Council is looking for an experienced and reliable company based locally to Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9NN to complete weekly onsite visual checks and inspections of each play area managed and maintained by Hook Parish Council. There are currently 10 play spaces, set over 7 sites throughout the village and a pending transfer of another site expected in 2024/ 25. Any interested parties must have a proven track record and provide evidence of previous and/or current experience. Applicants must provide at least one relevant reference as well as providing evidence of any training qualification or pending training they have in playground inspections and / or playground maintenance, as well as providing a copy of their public liability insurance. Our play areas are very popular with residents and visitors and therefore Hook Parish Council expects any applicants to have a demonstrable experience of providing a high level of customer service and a reliable and prompt on call service for any reported faults that may need urgent attention. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with the Environment and Community Administrator, providing weekly reports and attend regular meetings to ensure that each area is maintained to the highest level of safety and cleanliness. Grounds and Sports Facilities Maintenance Works

Grounds Maintenance Contractor based within 10 mile radius of Basingstoke required by Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council to manage the upkeep of the Parish Council's land consisting of two children's play areas and adult exercise equipment, sports and general recreation fields, Cemetery & Garden of Remembrance, Allotments, car parks and National Heritage site in addition to sports pitches including Archery, Bowls, Cricket and Football. The contractor must provide evidence of having prior experience and specialist knowledge of maintenance of a heritage site, bowling greens and cricket pitches and have a proven track record of a high level of customer satisfaction. The contractor must also demonstrate the ability to be responsive and flexible in its approach to tasks and particularly in dealing with those clubs that use the facilities. Works as set out in the Maintenance Schedule to be provided on application will include grass and hedge cutting, maintenance of grass borders, upkeep of the Cemetery, Garden of Remembrance and Allotments and seasonal maintenance and treatment of the sports pitches. Attendance on site for certain sports and other events, which will include weekends, is also required. The contract will be for an initial 3 year period and, subject to satisfactory results, will include an option to extend for a further 2 years. Suitable interested parties will be provided with an Invitation to Tender, Grounds Maintenance Schedule and site maps on application.
