The Authority (Hull City Council) has appointed: Pickerings Europe Primary Contractor for Lot 3 Airco Refrigeration and Airconditioning Limited as Secondary Contractor for Lot 3 and Primary Contractor for Lot 5 O&E Services Limited as Primary Contractor for Lot 6 S.R. Black Plumbing and Heating Ltd as Secondary Contractor for Lot 6 Door Repair & Service Yorkshire Limited as Primary Contractor for Lot 4 SPS Security Limited (bid as Independent Cleaning Services) as Primary Contractor for Lot 1 and Lot 8 Shield Security Services (Yorkshire) Limited as Primary Contractor for Lot 7 Premier Roofing & Services Limited as Primary Contractor for Lot 9 Fosters Roofing Limited as Secondary Contractor for Lot 9 to deliver statutory inspections services for Lots1-9 as described in the Tender Documentation. The Authority requires Contractors to deliver statutory inspections, maintenance, remedials and reactive repair works (in normal working hours and out of hours for Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8) across a broad range of assets within the corporate estate, as per the Lots, within the 4-year Corporate Property framework contract. Due to Lot 4 and Lot 8 were awarded later, the start date and end date for these Lots will be as follows: start date 30th September 2024, end date 29th September 2028.

Auto Doors and Roller Shutter Maintenance

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (the Trust) requires ongoing, expert maintenance and servicing of automatic doors and roller shutters across the City and Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) campuses to ensure their continued functionality and mitigate the risk of malfunction. These systems are critical for maintaining smooth and secure access to various areas of the Trust's facilities, safeguarding both patients and staff. In the event of a failure, automatic doors or roller shutters may become inoperable, potentially disrupting access to essential departments, increasing security risks, and causing delays to the Trust's operations. To prevent these risks and ensure the operational integrity of these systems, the Trust has awarded a 12 month contract, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, for the maintenance of automatic doors and roller shutters to Pickerings Ltd. This contract includes both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services. The contractor will carry out regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to both automatic doors and roller shutters at both the City and QMC campuses.
