PAN3048 - Emergency Repairs Call Handling Service

The Housing Division within Leicester City Council manages just over 19,500 properties and we are the largest landlord in the City. These properties are a mix of houses, bedsits, bungalows, flats, maisonettes and sheltered accommodation.\r \r Each year, we complete approximately 130,000 responsive repairs during normal working hours, and those repairs are carried out by around 300 craft operatives.\r \r Outside of normal working hours, we provide an emergency repairs service to our tenants, who can report emergency repairs via a published emergency repairs telephone line.\r \r Most of these repairs are carried out by our own staff, a small number of whom participate on an emergency repairs rota, but we also use a small number of contractors for more specialist repairs.\r \r The services required are the handling of all of the Authority's Housing Divisions emergency repairs calls received on the tenant's emergency repairs telephone number. The Service Provider will be required to identify genuine emergency calls, log an emergency repair job on the Authority's IT system, and issue the job to an Emergency Repair Operative using the Authority's work scheduling system, following the required operational procedures.\r \r Average annual call volumes are 18,000 calls received with 9,600 calls requiring an emergency repairs job to be raised and issued to an operative.\r \r The proposed Contract will be for three years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further two years. We anticipate awarding to a single Service Provider.

Manchester City Council and its housing development company, This City, is seeking to procure the services and expertise of a management, maintenance, and lettings agent to provide all day-to-day operations including but not limited to lettings, long-term asset management, lifecycle maintenance, and tenant management of the newly constructed No. 1 Ancoats Green buildings and site. This City is a new development company founded by its shareholder Manchester City Council in 2021. The ambition is to increase housing development in Manchester by 500 homes each year by 2030, building homes that the city’s residents need with at least a fifth of which will be made available at truly affordable Manchester Living Rents. This contract opportunity is initially for the management, maintenance and letting services for No.1 Ancoats Green. It is intended that through this ITT This City will have the opportunity, without commitment, to extend the contract to the successful bidder to include future This City developments, as set out in the Invitation To Tender Documentation. The opportunity is to deliver estate services - grounds maintenance and arboriculture\r services. Moat is seeking to enter into long-term partnering agreements with suitably\r qualified and experienced organisations to deliver high quality, customer-focussed and cost effective services.\r Service delivery is anticipated to commence on Monday, 8th April 2024 for an initial period\r of 5 years to Sunday, 8th April 2029. Subject to satisfactory performance, Moat will have the\r option to extend for additional periods of up to five further years, unless the Contract ends or\r is terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. The total maximum contract\r term, including possible extensions, is ten (10) years.\r Our corporate strategy includes commitments to the implementation of local offers to\r enable us to tailor our services for local needs, designed by local people.
