Generation 5 2024 - 2028 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework - AWARD

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Generation 5 2024 - 2028 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework. The Framework will commence on 8th January 2024 and will be for a period of four years. You are invited on behalf of Hampshire County Council, to submit a tender for provision of works under the Gen 5 Framework in accordance with the tender documentation.  Please note you are only invited to tender for those Lots applied to and unless notified of exclusion, successfully shortlisted for Invitation to Tender.   Please note from the ITT paragraphs 8.7 and 8.8. In summary the requirement to inform throughout this tender period, of any changes from the originally provided responses in the Selection Questionnaire. Please download all the documents and read very carefully. Your completed 'Tender Return Document(s)' should be submitted via 'In-tend' by 14:00 hrs on Friday 22nd September 2023. The 'Opt Out' functionality will also be available throughout the duration of the tender process. Framework Agreement for Minor Highway Works (Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Test Valley Borough Council)

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council are seeking expressions of interest from relevant suppliers to tender for their Framework Contract for Minor Highway Works. Please note that this Framework contract covers the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane and the Borough of Test Valley, both in Hampshire.\r \r The contract will operate for a period of 3 years with a 1 year option to extend, and is expected to commence from 01/09/2019 and cover Highway Civil Engineering projects ranging anywhere from a few hundred pounds up to £75,000.00.\r \r Typical works let through this contract are of a Highway Civil Engineering nature and range from the construction of drop kerbs and small footway links to the implementation of additional parking projects and neighbourhood regeneration schemes. Any one project could comprise elements of traffic management, site clearance, fencing, drainage, earthworks, kerbing, macadam surfacing and / or street furniture installation; hence suitable bidders will be those with experience of all of these areas.\r \r This Framework contract comprises submitted rates against each individual item listed within the Contract Schedule of Items. Bidders must be able to supply every item listed within Document 5 Appendix 1 Schedule of Works.\r Any contractor wishing to be considered for appointment onto this framework agreement must complete and return the PAS 91 prequalification questionnaire. Responses to the prequalification questionnaire will be used to draw up a restricted list of companies invited to participate further in the procurement process. The number of companies to be invited to tender as a result of this opportunity notice will be restricted to a minimum of 5 and maximum of 7 suppliers (this will only be exceeded where multiple suppliers have the same total score) with a total of up to 5 suppliers appointed to the framework contract.\r The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with suppliers. Generation 5 (Gen5) Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework 2024 - 2028

This Framework replaces the Contracting Authority's current Gen 4-1, Gen 4-2 and Gen 4-3 Frameworks. These support the Universal Services Directorate Highways, Engineering and Transport team in procuring their civil engineering, highways and transportation infrastructure development related construction works. Further details are within the Lot descriptions. This is a lotted framework with a number of suppliers on each Lot. Each Lot is designed around project value i.e. small value, mid value and high value projects and with some geographical scope lotting (see Lot 2 East/West). Lot Project Values The Framework consists of Lots split by project value as follows: Lot 1 - up to £350k Lot 2 - East or West up to £5 million Lot 3 - £4m-£25 million Lot 4 - £20m-£175million Lot anticipated spend under the Framework Lot 1 - £5m-£6million Lot 2 East and West - £35m-£50million Lot 3 - £40m-£70million Lot 4 - £50m-£150million Geographical Scope The Lots have varying geographical coverage as set out below: Lot 1 - the County of Hampshire including Portsmouth and Southampton Lot 2 East - the counties of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent Lot 2 West - the counties of Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall Lots 3 and 4 - the counties within Lot 2 East and West combined and mentioned above.
