Framework for PE and Gym Equipment (Schools and Education Facilities only) (2024) Lot 1 Maintenance and Servicing Inspections and Lot 2 Repair and Purchase

This Framework is for the servicing and potential maintenance, Repair and purchase (including replacement) of PE equipment and gym equipment for Schools and Educational Facilities. \r This Framework is available in two Lots:\r \r â€¢ Lot 1 - Servicing and Maintenance \r â€¢ Lot 2 - Repair and Purchase \r \r Any external works are not included in this framework and should not be undertaken as part of this framework.\r \r Bidders can choose to submit offers for one or both Lots and are advised to review the evaluation criteria of this exercise relevant to the Lot(s) they choose to bid for. The Council intends to appoint 3 bidders for each Lot under this Framework.\r \r It is to be noted that the moderate and major repairs and those minor repairs not covered within the standard maintenance costs are subject to client approval and the clients / organisations utilising this contract will not be obligated to use the successful bidders for moderate and major repairs following a maintenance visit should they so wish.\r \r The documents must be downloaded from www.nepo.org and insert reference DN 711911 within the supplier area

WCC Play Equipment Testing

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a supplier who will be required to undertake Outdoor Play and Internal PE Inspection services in Warwickshire Primary, Secondary, Special Educational Needs Schools and Warwickshire County Council Country Parks to ensure they meet required standards detailed below in the mandatory requirements section. Two Operational inspections and one annual inspection will be required to be completed for each site, as per the schedule provided in Appendix 4 and within a period of 12months. The contract will be based on the number of sites and services in and around Warwickshire County Council requesting the service and the supplier will be obliged to carry out work in every establishment detailed within this specification if requested to do so as some sites may make their own arrangements

The contract will be based on the number of sites and services in and around Warwickshire County Council requesting the service and the supplier will be obliged to carry out work in every establishment detailed within the specification if requested to do so as some sites may make their own arrangements The list of sites is provided and is all of the locations, and the volume of work will be dictated by the number of sites requesting the service. The Contract for these services will be between the Supplier and Warwickshire County Council and not the individual schools or County Parks. The inspections are to include outdoor fixed play equipment which potentially includes games tables. Also, Internal PE Equipment to include table tennis tables and trampolines within primary halls, sports halls, fitness suites and gymnasiums in Warwickshire.  Trampolines and table tennis tables are in scope but are an ad hoc requirement Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (In-Tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
