The majority of the removals will be within the Kirklees area, but it is possible that on occasions there will be jobs in other parts of Yorkshire and sometimes to other parts of the Country.

Framework for the Supply of Specialised (Domestic) Removals, Storage and Disposal Services

Tenders are invited by the Council from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the supply of Specialised (Domestic) Removal, Storage and Disposal Services (the "Services") under a proposed Framework Agreement. The requirement of this Framework is to provide the Council with reactive call-outs for domestic removals, storage & disposal. The framework will be operating as a multi-supplier framework where suppliers will be ranked. The anticipated commencement date for the Framework Agreement is 8th July 2024 for a period of 2 years until 7th July 2026. The Council may extend the framework agreement for two (2) periods of twelve (12) months to 7th July 2028. Framework for Domestic and Commercial Removals, Storage and Disposals

South Lanarkshire Council's Housing and Technical Resources Property, Housing Management and Homelessness Services have a requirement to provide a service for the Removal, Storage and Disposal of items. In addition, there is also the requirement as part of the Council’s wider buildings estate portfolio to include internal office/Education moves for short or longer term decants to other buildings. This service has been split into the following Lots:- Lot 1 - Domestic Removals Storage and Disposals Lot 2 - Commercial Removals Storage and Disposals Bidders may submit a bid for one or both Lots. The maximum number of Lots that a bidder can be appointed to is two.
