FAE-24-006 SCHOOL FURNITURE FOR EDUCATION AUTHORITY

The Education Authority (EA) invites tenders for the supply and delivery of School Furniture to individual schools and EA locations within Northern Ireland for a period of 4 years. The tender is divided into 5 lots as follows: Lot 1 – Classroom Furniture, Lot 2 - Furniture for School Dining Areas and Staff Canteens, Lot 3 – Assembly Hall Chairs and Trolleys, Lot 4 – Science Technology Furniture and Lot 5 – Design and Room Fit Outs - Catalogues. A Framework to appoint multiple suppliers to supply a range of display and exhibition products including whiteboards, noticeboards, exhibition, visual display and AV furniture, to be supplied direct to individual customer establishments and to the ESPO Distribution Centre, Leicester. Lot 1 - Smartbuy Lot 2 - Whiteboards, Noticeboards, Partition & Exhibition Boards Lot 3 - Specialist Boards, Leaflet Dispensers, Cabinets, Signage & Frames Lot 4 - Audio Visual Furniture and Screens The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated value stated includes the option period. This framework will operate on-going contract monitoring procedures following award, to ensure financial stability requirements are maintained. Credit rating checks will be carried out on a regular basis, using a credit rating agency. Any changes will be assessed (compared with a baseline credit rating score obtained at contract award stage) and significant changes or sustained degradation will be investigated.
