Southern Water Services (SWS) is anticipating that AMP8 will be the largest investment programme it has ever undertaken, given its plans for WINEP and WRMP, and the service it is seeking to deliver for customers. SWS now wishes to secure a range of supply chain partners for the delivery of its AMP8 capital programme. The AMP8 regulatory period will run from April 2025 to March 2030. The current frameworks used for engineering, design and construction services have been in place for almost 10 years and expire on 31st March 2025. In procuring new frameworks, we are seeking to build on positive changes made in AMP7, but also to look beyond AMP8 and take important steps to reflect supplier feedback, moving towards excellence in all that we do. The new arrangements will offer the option of running for AMP9. In parallel to this procurement process, Southern Water is working up its plans for PR24 – including working with our regulators and stakeholders to confirm the investment that will be available, and the capital delivery projects that will need to be undertaken. The PR24 process will benefit from having the AMP8 supply chain in place to assist with ongoing planning and transition to AMP8. A collaborative framework will be established to deliver low complexity infrastructure design and build schemes. The framework will have 2 lots one for water and wastewater. A framework for Non-Infrastructure works has already been established for the remainder of AMP 7 and 8. The Partner shall work with the Client to provide engineering capability and expertise to: Identify and develop options in accordance with the Client’s technical and engineering standards for all aspects of Water and Wastewater systems.

Non-Infrastructure Medium Project Work

Non-infrastructure MEICA and Civils ~ Medium (RW1) Project Work. TWUL are procuring delivery capability for Non-Infrastructure projects. TWUL recognises non-infrastructure as nominally all above ground plant, equipment, structures and process; the expected scope of works spans Thames Water's water and wastewater non-infrastructure (treatment) assets across the Thames Water region. The Non-infrastructure scope includes refurbishment, replacement and provision of new potable water and wastewater treatment assets including service and storage reservoirs Water non infrastructure scope includes but is not limited to: - refurbishment, replacement and provision of new potable ground and surface water production assets such as enhanced slow sand filter performance, - disinfection, - surge protection, - chemical dosing, - supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), - run-to-waste facilities, - cartridge filters and UV, - increased power resilience, - inspection and maintenance of existing service and storage reservoirs. Skills Bootcamps DPS : Construction and Built Environment : Second call off competition

Skills Bootcamps offer flexible, primarily level 3 - 5 equivalent courses of up to 16 weeks in technical skills which are free to eligible adult learners. They give adults the opportunity to build up in-demand, sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer - supporting adults to move into well-paid jobs and helping employers to fill much-needed vacancies. Unemployed, employed and self-employed adults can be eligible for a Skills Bootcamp; they can be used to support an unemployed person into a job, an employed adult into a different job in another organisation or to gain another role or other responsibilities in the same organisation, or a self-employed adult to gain new opportunities. They also support groups such as those returning to work after a break, ex-veterans and eligible prisoners within 6 months of release. There is a clear expectation that employers are involved in the whole end-to-end delivery of Skills Bootcamps; and where an employer is using a Skills Bootcamp to train up a current employee, they must contribute towards the costs of the Skills Bootcamp.
