Weymouth Harbour Walls F&G Replacement Scheme

Weymouth Harbour Walls F&G are the north and east facing walls that make up part of the Weymouth Peninsula. The harbour walls are in poor condition and need to be replaced as soon as practicably possible.\r \r The work will involve the installation of nearly 500m of PU sheet piles a meter in front of the old sheet piles. The first 175m of sheet piles from the start of Wall G at the beach will be cantilevered and the remaining portion of Wall G as well as the whole of Wall F will be supported by tie rods connecting the new sheet piles to the old anchor blocks. The capping beam on top of the old sheet piles will be demolished and a new reinforced capping beam will be constructed at a fixed level on top of the new sheet piles to provide necessary flood defences. \r \r Tenders are being sought from suitable principal contractors for these requirements.

Delivering Northumbrian Water Limited's (NWL) AMP8 programme, and beyond, will require a step change in how we collaborate, manage risk and co-ordinate our capital investment. We have developed a clear vision and process for how we want to deliver our plan and our ambitious transformation programme to implement this roadmap has already commenced with the award of framework agreements for professional services contracts. These lay the foundations for our new supply chain landscape or 'Living Water Ecosystem'. This award notice is in relation to the Wider Ecosystem. A separate notice for the Living Water Enterprise lots (FA08-01) was published on completion of that procurement process. Short Cycle Work: NWL's Integrated Delivery Services (IDS) team delivers lean and agile short cycle capital investment works on our water and wastewater assets, as well as delivering infrastructure services for our developer customers. The IDS team will be supported by the appointed Wider Ecosystem partners. The Wider Ecosystem will also provide additional resource and support to the Living Water Enterprise partners when delivering long cycle work. Capital Delivery Partner Framework Agreement

This framework agreement is for capital delivery contractors and consultants (capital delivery partners) to support the delivery of Wessex Water's capital programme of work in AMP8 with the option of continuing throughout AMP9. The framework agreement is divided into four lots: Design & Build, Design, Mechanical & Electrical, and Civils.
