Cumberland council has awarded 4 providers on to the Targeted Short Break Activities for Children with Disabilities. The objective of the Targeted Short Break Activities service is to provide families of children and young people with SEND with a short break from each other. This is to give families a break from their caring responsibilities and the child or young person an opportunity to take part in a fun activity. It is the expectation that all Activities will take place in a location within Cumberland. For Activities that include day trips to outside of Cumberland, these should start from a location in Cumberland.

Targeted Short Break Activities for Children with Disabilities - Open Framework

Cumberland Council is advertising an Open Framework for providers to deliver Targeted Short Breaks for Children with Disabilities.\r The Council is conducting the procurement of this framework using the open procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR) for the purpose of procuring the services described in the Service Specification.\r \r There are Five Lots - \r Lot 1: Weekend Activities\r Lot 2: School Holiday Activities\r Lot 3: School Holiday Activities in Cumberland Special Schools\r Lot 4: Activities based on Specific Needs\r Lot 5: Innovation\r \r The Council will seek to open the Framework to new applications as stated within the ITT.\r It shall be at the Council's sole discretion to open the Framework to new applications more or less frequently, and to decide how long the tender period is open for each time. The Council reserves the right to close the Framework to new applications if in the opinion of the Council there is good reason to do so. In the event the Council determines to exercise its discretion to close the Framework to new applications, it will notify its intention and the period which the Framework will be closed on Find a Tender.\r \r The estimated total value of the Framework for the 16 Months initial term is £241,217.33 excluding VAT. The estimated total value for the initial term plus the one 12 month optional extension is £392,044.33 excluding VAT. The Council does not guarantee any spend against this Framework Agreement.\r \r You must be registered on The Chest (https://www.the-chest.org.uk/) to access the tender documents. All bids must be received electronically via the Chest by the closing date stated in the ITT. Please read the ITT and its Schedules in full before submitting a tender. Provision of Leicestershire Holiday Activities and Food Programme - Holiday Clubs

Leicestershire County Council (the Council) is conducting a procurement to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) in accordance with the Light-Touch Regime requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.\r \r The Council is inviting Providers to join the Leicestershire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme DPS to supply holiday club places to children resident in Leicestershire who are eligible to receive benefits-related free school meals. HAF holiday provision is for school aged children from reception to year 11 (inclusive).\r \r The offer of free HAF holiday club provision will be available to all Leicestershire children in receipt of benefits-related free school meals. However, it is not expected that all eligible children will take up the offer of HAF holiday club places as attendance is voluntary.\r \r We are seeking provision to be delivered across the County and particularly targeting areas of greatest need. The holiday clubs will take place during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays.\r \r Holiday club provision must provide each child with; a healthy meal; engaging and enriching activities; opportunities to be physically active; nutritional education. Provision must also ensure that each child's family develop their understanding of health and nutrition, and are signposted towards other information and support, for example, health, employment, and education.\r \r The DPS will run for an in initial period of 2 years and 2 months from 1st November 2022 with the potential to extend in yearly increments for up to three years.\r \r Providers can submit an application to join the DPS at any time during the life of the DPS. The deadline for receipt of applications for Round 1 of the DPS is 12:00 12th September 2022. Once a DPS round is closed, the next round will automatically open to receive further applications until the end of the DPS.\r

Specialist Services for Disabled Children Young People and their Families\r \r Derbyshire County Council is inviting tender from providers to join a framework to deliver specialised services for disabled children, young people 0-25 and their families. \r \r The framework will comprise of five lots: \r Lot A One-to-One Support \r Lot B Overnight short breaks - standard and complex\r Lot C Group activities\r Lot D Home Care services\r Lot E Support Planning & Brokerage\r \r The framework will also be available for use by Derby City Council and a provider list will be published on the Council's website for use by families and individuals with a personal budget.\r Please note: The Council is procuring the services under the Light Touch Regime for health, social and other specific services. A new qualifying period will be advertised periodically, during which time the relevant Framework Lot(s) shall be open to new applicant, every 6 months and/or where the number of providers on any Lot is below the minimum threshold.

This opportunity is for Easter Holiday (2024) Activities with Healthy Food for Children in Receipt of Benefits-related Free School Meals.\r \r The Council wishes to engage with multiple Providers that can undertake the following in the Easter holidays 2024.\r \r This project is to be funded by The Department for Education however the Council is still awaiting confirmation for 2024 therefore this opportunity is subject to receiving DfE grant confirmation.\r \r All providers will need to meet DfE framework of standards as below:\r â€¢ Food Provision\r â€¢ Enrichment Activities\r â€¢ Physical Activities\r â€¢ Increasing Awareness of Healthy Eating, healthy lifestyles, and positive behaviours\r â€¢ Signposting and referrals and supporting families\r â€¢ Safeguarding\r â€¢ Policies and Procedures\r \r Please note, sessions do not need to be exclusively for children in receipt benefits-related Free School Meals, however the DfE funded element of Fun and Food will only fund children in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals.
