CP2549-24: Devon and Somerset Standing List of Approved Contractors (SLoAC) 2025

The Devon & Somerset Standing List of Approved Contractors (SLoAC) provides a set of pre-qualified contractors for Maintenance, Improvement, and Building Works up to £2,000,000 per project, with most works ranging between £5,000 and £250,000, and for works below £5,000. SLoAC 2025 will replace the existing SLoAC, which has been in operation since 1st April, 2016, and will expire on 31st March, 2025. All interested contractors, including those currently on the existing list must re-apply to join SLoAC 2025. SLoAC 2025 is anticipated to commence April 2025, and will run for 4 years (until 31st March 2029) with a break clause at the end of the second year (31st March 2027) and an option to extend for a further 4 years in 2 years increment (until 31st March 2033) at the Authority's discretion. The SLoAC will be re-opened periodically (anticipated to be annually) in order to enable contractors to apply to join the list. If in the Authority’s reasonable opinion, specific work categories have sufficient numbers of contractors in a work category, the Authority reserves the right not to open those work categories to new applications to prevent having excessive numbers of contractors. In this initial application period no limit will be set to the number of contractors that will be accepted into a work category. The Authority also reserves the right to include additional works categories when the arrangement is reopened. Contractors will be appointed to the SLoAC based on achieving certain minimum standard through pass/fail questions. The award of specific projects will be subject to a competitive procurement process for each individual project. Only approved contractors on the SLoAC will get an opportunity to be selected to participate in a competitive processes when a need arises. To be approved, contractors must obtain and maintain accreditation from our Comprehensive Accreditation Service Provider.. This is not a condition of joining the SLoAC but a condition for being selected to take part in a competitive process when a need arises. The SLoAC is open to use by other public bodies within Devon and Somerset. Devon County Council will be hosting a virtual Tender Launch Event via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 6th February 2025 11:00 - 12:30. This will be an opportunity to discuss the service, ask questions, and help bidders navigate around the tender documentation and the procurement process. ESCC-HP-Planned Maintenance Framework

East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) are seeking applications from suitably qualified and interested organisations for a range of facilities management services. This will include the procurement of a planned maintenance Framework. The works are required for the participating authorities assets which mainly include schools and corporate buildings, but excludes Housing and Highways. A prior information notice (PIN) was issued on 10.08.2023 and the reference is 2023/S 000-023332. Roofing Replacement and Roofing Repair Works Framework

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a not for profit consortium which establishes and manages a range of framework and DPS agreements. Our membership has now grown to over 360 public sector organisations including housing associations and ALMO's, Local Authorities, NHS trusts, Education Providers, Blue Light Services, Government Agencies and Charities. EEM have also established a formal collaboration with 3 like-minded procurement consortia-Westworks, South East Consortium and Advantage South West. The Framework will provide EEM Members with a provision for their Roofing Services covering both Domestic & Commercial properties to help members deliver a roofing solution. The Framework agreement is for a period of 48 months, running from Monday 22nd July 2024 to 21st July 2028. Seven contractors have been awarded onto the Framework, covering the geographical sublots of National and the Midlands, ensuring that all our member's requirements are covered taking into consideration the range of locations our members are located in. The Framework requires EEM to covers England & Wales under the following sublots: Lot 1 Roofing Replacement, Sublot 1 Midlands and Sublot 2 National Coverage. Lot 2 Roofing Repairs, Sublot 1 Midlands and Sublot 2 National Coverage. Contracting Authorities can use a Direct Selection or Mini Competition to appoint a Contractor and only the Contractor who sits on the relevant geographical sublots, the Contracting Authority is looking to use can participate in the selection process.
