Contract 37 - Roofing - Non Traditional Sheet Roof Products - Planned Works 2021 -2023

The Authority invites suitably experienced providers for the above Framework for skilled service to provide Non-traditional Roofing Services (NFRC Membership OR equiv is desirable). This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract.\r Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.\r \r The main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to providing new, repair and replacement roofs which are of non-traditional construction, low pitch and flat roofs, single ply membrane, liquid applied coatings, asphalt, bitumen felt, green roof, profile metal sheet and standing seam; including rainwater goods, trims, flashings, parapets, upstands, service penetrations and also other planned and reactive investment works requiring services to be completed in ether of the following forms; Operational, schools, commercial and any other properties owned by the Authority or its subsidiaries which may also include properties for sale. The specific Projects details that may be procured under this Framework Contract cannot be clearly defined at this stage, however, indicative volumes, approximate per year are: 10\r \r Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 5 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework. Works up to £20k will be offered to the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award. For works exceeding £20k a mini competition will be undertaken with the 5 contractors on the framework via the NEPO portal, please refer to the Authority Requirements in the tender pack for further information. EEM0070 Roofing Replacement and Roofing Repairs Framework

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a not for profit consortium which establishes and manages a range of framework and DPS agreements. Our membership has now grown to 340 public sector organisations including housing associations and ALMO's, Local Authorities, NHS trusts, Education Providers, Blue Light Services, Government Agencies and Charities. EEM have also established a formal collaboration with 3 like-minded procurement consortia-Westworks, South East Consortium and Advantage South West. The membership list for these three consortia may be obtained from the following websites addresses: (https://www.westworks.org.uk) (https://www.southeastconsortium.org.uk) (https://www.advantagesouthwest.co.uk) EEM have conducted a tender exercise to procure, a Roofing Replacement and Roofing Repairs Services Framework to replace our existing Framework which will expired in July 2024. The Framework will provide EEM Members with a provision for their Roofing Replacement and Repairs Services covering both Domestic & Commercial properties to help members deliver a roofing works solution. The Framework agreement will be for a period of 48 months, running from Monday 22nd July 2024 to 21st July 2028. Seven Contractors have been appointed onto the Framework, this will ensure that all our member's requirements are covered taking into consideration the range of locations our members are located in. The Framework requires EEM to cover England and Wales under the following Lots: Lot 1 Roofing Replacement, Sublot 1 Midlands and Sublot 2 National Coverage. Lot 2 Roofing Repairs, Sublot 1 Midlands and Sublot 2 National Coverage. Additional information: The call-off contracts to be awarded pursuant to the Framework Agreements that has been entered into begun by publication of the Contract Notice may extend for a duration of up to five years beyond expiry of the four-year term of the Framework Agreements. Please note that the total potential framework value stated within this notice is in relation to the full 4-year framework and takes into consideration the lot structure, length of call off contracts and that the EEM membership may grow over the framework lifetime. Where the contract notice states a maximum of suppliers to be appointed to the framework. The framework has been procured by Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) on behalf of their members and the other organisations described below as being authorised users. B2G Pitched and Solar Roofing solutions and all associated works, goods and services

On behalf of Gold Hill HA, B2G.services have tendered a national framework for use by contracting authorities across the UK wishing to procure the new or continued services of specialist roofing contractors to deliver pitched and solar roofing installations, repairs and upgrades, and all associated works, goods and services, for both residential and non-residential property. The B2G DPS operates alongside all B2G frameworks, whose 'dynamic open' format enable contract assignment of projects in whole or part to specialist suppliers registered on the B2G DPS, who then contract with the authority and deliver those elements under the auspices of the framework supplier, and compliant with the specification, standards and regulations set out in the framework documents. This facility optimises project procurement, delivery, risk management and control. To this end, roofing projects and or programmes can be awarded to the framework supplier - all of whom are pitched roofing contractors - to deliver the roofing works and oversee the roofing programme, whilst the solar elements can be assigned to the RE tech specialist registered on the B2G DPS, who is better to suited to manage those solar PV elements from design through network connection. RE tech specialists are invited to register for the DPS at any time.
