Estate Services - Grounds Maintenance and Arboriculture Services

The opportunity is to deliver estate services - grounds maintenance and arboriculture\r services. Moat is seeking to enter into long-term partnering agreements with suitably\r qualified and experienced organisations to deliver high quality, customer-focussed and cost effective services.\r Service delivery is anticipated to commence on Monday, 8th April 2024 for an initial period\r of 5 years to Sunday, 8th April 2029. Subject to satisfactory performance, Moat will have the\r option to extend for additional periods of up to five further years, unless the Contract ends or\r is terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. The total maximum contract\r term, including possible extensions, is ten (10) years.\r Our corporate strategy includes commitments to the implementation of local offers to\r enable us to tailor our services for local needs, designed by local people. In support of this,\r we have divided our requirements across our geographical areas and are tendering on the\r basis of multiple lots for each service.\r Moat intends to award four contracts for the provision of grounds maintenance services and\r three contracts for the provision of arboriculture services.\r Bidders may bid for multiple lots, but it is not anticipated that multiple contracts will be\r awarded to a single Bidder for each service type. For example, this means that a Bidder may\r be awarded a contract for grounds maintenance services in one geographical area plus one\r further contract for arboriculture services in the same (or a different) geographical area.

Pest Control Services

Guinness require a reactive pest control service for the eradication and prevention of pests across our properties and locations, both in communal areas, within resident properties and in unoccupied properties. On schemes where certain environmental factors present an increased likelihood of pest problems such as markets and canals, a proactive scheduled service will be required, with no fewer than 12 visits per annum / once per month. The service shall control, if not eradicate all pests from site, including the removal of dead creatures.\r \r The Supplier shall treat the property until successful eradication with a maximum number of three visits, with the first treatment taking place at the initial survey. Further visits shall be agreed with TGP following receipt of further works recommendation reports.\r \r The supplier will be expected to make temporary preventative repairs to the internal and external structure of a property where a building defect has been identified as a contributing factor to the pest concerns at the scheme.\r \r This framework is being procured by Guinness for and on behalf of the following entities ("Other Users") who will all be entitled to conclude contracts based on this framework agreement:\r - Any and all subsidiaries and entities within Guinness' group of societies and companies ("the Guinness Group"),\r - Social housing providers in the UK (both those that are in existence now and those that may be in existence in the future) - 'Social Housing Provider' for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes, without limitation, registered providers which are listed on the regulator of social housing website and ALMOs and local authorities with retained social housing.
