LPS CORP - The Supply and Delivery of Food and Drink Products to Lancashire County Council - LCC43108

Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT to secure a multi-lotted supplier framework for the supply of food and drink products, including fresh provisions fresh meat, groceries, frozen food products, fresh baked products and soft drinks/snacks. The Framework is separated into twenty-three (23) lots and the requirements are as follows. The required goods for Lots 1 to 21 are to be supplied and delivered into the Authority's appointed distributor, Ralph Livesey Ltd whose distribution hub addresses are: Fresh Food Distribution Hub, Unit 72B, Roman Way, Off Longridge Road, Preston, PR2 5BE And Unit 7 Green Acre Park Howard Street Bolton BL1 8HN Deliveries of the products supplied by the successful supplier(s) for Lots 1 to 21 will then be made by the Distributor to over 500 units county-wide. The majority of these units are educational establishments (Primary and High Schools / Colleges) but to also the Authority's Residential Care Sites. Lots 22 and 23 are to be supplied and directly delivered to the Authority's customers. Lot 22 is for the supply and delivery of fresh bread, morning goods and sweet baked products to approximately 500 units including schools, colleges and residential care home. Lot 23 is for the the supply and delivery of soft drinks, crisps and confectionery products to over 70 units, including high schools, care homes and Authority corporate sites. The initial Framework term is 2 years, the Authority may in its absolute discretion, exercise the option to extend the term by any number of defined periods, so long as the maximum duration of the framework agreement does not exceed 4 years. In addition, the Purchaser wishes to establish this framework (where the successful Tenderer's capacity and capability permits) as accessible for use by other public sector bodies including: • Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council • Blackpool Borough Council • Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council • Bury Metropolitan Borough Council • Cheshire East County Council • Cheshire West and Chester Council • Derbyshire County Council • Halton Borough Council • Knowsley Metropolitan Council • Manchester City Council • Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council • Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council • Salford City Council • Sefton Council • St Helens Council • Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council • Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council • Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council • West Lancashire Borough Council • Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council • Wyre Borough Council • Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service • The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire The framework is estimated to be between £8,990,000 and £10,788,000 per annum based on the Purchaser's own recent historical data. (Between £35,960,000 and £43,152,000 over the maximum 4-year period) The figures above include participation by the wider public sector authorities listed above for the maximum 4 years. However, their participation is not guaranteed.
