This Contract is for the provision of a comprehensive Facilities Management Service at the Mary Peters Track, a premier athletics venue operated by Belfast City Council. The Contractor shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and presentation of the site, ensuring it remains safe, clean, accessible, and fit for purpose for all users, including athletes, clubs, event organisers, schools, community groups, volunteers, and members of the public. The Service includes, but is not limited to: Opening and closing of the facility in line with agreed operating hours and event schedules; Coordination and support for athletics training, competitions, community events, and elite athlete use; Routine and reactive maintenance of the track pavilion and lighting in line with critical compliance and maintenance schedule (see Annex 2) and associated infrastructure; Management of bookings and income reconciliation; Provision of suitably trained and uniformed staff to deliver the Service to a high standard; Implementation of health and safety measures, including emergency procedures and fire safety; Delivery of social value commitments in line with Council priorities and the Procurement Act 2023; Promotion and marketing of the facility to increase usage, attract events, and engage under-represented groups; Support for the development and delivery of coaching, volunteering, and athlete development programmes; Collaboration with Belfast City Council, Athletics NI, and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive programming and continuous improvement.
Places for London Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Transport for London (TfL) is commencing a procurement process to appoint a supplier(s) to deliver Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) services across its estate. FM services will be procured by using a lotting strategy approach, Lot 1 Soft FM services and Lot 2 Hard FM services. The Hard FM Services are described in the procurement documents and cover a broad range of services including building maintenance, fire safety, electrical, door entry and drain maintenance. The Soft FM services are described in the procurement documents and cover a broad range of services including cleaning, waste management and pest control. The contract will be for 5 years and 6 months with an option to extend for a further 2 x 1 year extensions.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a dynamic purchasing system for the provision of Facilities Management and Workplace related Services. The DPS will offer an alternative route to market for lower value and / or less complex contracts and will look to attract SME suppliers. This DPS complements the existing Facilities Management Marketplace framework (RM6232) and provides customers with a range of procurement solutions. It offers a wide range of works and services for public sector estates, such as maintenance, response repairs, supply and installation works. This agreement will also include services such as CAFM, help-desk services, and waste. This DPS will be available to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including but not limited to, Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education, Housing, Charities, Not for Profit, Nuclear and Devolved Administrations and International. The Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS will be organised into distinct categories to enable Suppliers to select all elements relevant to their service offering. Customers can filter the elements to produce a shortlist of Suppliers to invite to a competition. The four (4) distinct categories comprise of: Services Building Type Location Annual Contract Value Additional information: This is to advise that the optional extension has been utilised and the end date is now 23/02/2029.
