Review of land management options

Description

As part of our significant savings and efficiencies challenge, Natural England (NE) have highlighted an opportunity to achieve savings by better managing their National Nature Reserves (NNRs).   
 
 

NE manages 2/3rds of NNRs across England with the rest being managed by organisations such as the RSPB, National Trust and Local Wildlife Trusts. NE spends approx. £10m a year managing these sites and NE are keen to reduce this cost through exploring savings in areas such as their Operating Model, Sustainable Financing, Commercial Opportunities and Asset Management.
