Trafford Council is one of the leading authorities participating in the Government's Advanced Zoning Programme (AZP). Under the AZP, Trafford Council is seeking to procure a Development Agreement with a partner to fully design and ultimately invest, build, operate and manage the Trafford Civic Quarter Heat Network (a Green Heat Network Fund supported scheme) and wider North Trafford heat zone opportunity.
Development Agreement Estimated Contract Dates: 15 June 2026 till 15 June 2027

Lifecycle and Welfare

Thames Water wishes to award one framework agreement to suppliers capable of project design, building renovations, remedial works and/or the provision and maintenance of welfare cabins. Due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, there is need to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose. The Framework Agreement will cover the following works: Consultancy (Project Design), Internal & External Works (London area), Internal & External Works (Thames Valley and Home Counties), Roofing, Asbestos Consulting, Asbestos Treatment and Welfare Cabins. Thames Water reserve the right to issue multiple awards for each lot in this agreement to achieve the most efficient and economical service solution, and the security and consistent continuity of supply and delivery. Thames Water reserve the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots. In parallel, although on a slightly different timetable, Thames Water is also running a procurement exercise for facilities management services whereby there are some common areas of work with this procurement exercise. CITY OF ARMAGH RFC EXTENSION AND CLUBROOM ENHANCEMENT SCHEME

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Consultancy firms for the Design and Project Management of the refurbishment of the clubhouse building at City of Armagh Rugby Club, situated at Palace Grounds, Friary Rd, Armagh BT60 4EN. Professional Services RIBA 4-7 for the proposed single-story extension comprising of new Changing, Showering facilities and Physio room. Refurbishment of existing shower areas to provide enhanced male and female changing and shower facilities. City of Armagh Rugby Football Club in (CARFC) was founded in 1875 and since 1977 have been located at their current site on the Friary Road in Armagh. The clubhouse and grounds have been extensively used during this period, not just by rugby club members and visiting rugby clubs but also by the local community and local sporting clubs. Part of the current facilities (approximately 700m2) are substandard (built in 1977) and there is a requirement to ensure that there are facilities suitable for female and disabled participants and that they are adequate and truly inclusive for everyone in CARFC’s ever-growing community. It is the desire that the energy efficiency measures, accessibility and environmental improvements will increase participation volumes in all categories. Significantly, it will also encourage other organisations to use the facilities.

PROPOSED COMMUNITY SPORTS FACILITY AT LAURELVALE

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Consultancy firms for the Design and Project Management of a new Cricket and Community Hub on the existing site of Lauralvale Cricket Club 25 Mullavilly Rd. Tandragee, BT62 2LX. Since 1875 the grounds and facility has provided the focus for many village activities and functions. The club has just celebrated 150 years existence, and to mark this the Committee want to secure a viable long-term future for this established club and develop the facilities and activities that take place there. Over the years due to its location in the centre of the villages of Laurelvale and Mullavilly, many activities other than cricket now take place within the grounds. There is a real need to build a new, fit for purpose facility to host these activities. This capital project will kickstart the first phase of the club’s vision - the building of a new community hub and changing facility adjacent to the current cricket pitch ground (Building B) This new single storey building will have a multi-use space where groups will meet and during the cricket season will also act as changing rooms. It will also have a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. The new facility would allow for more programming of indoor activities, longer opening hours. Increase in usage of the facility will lead to increased revenues, all of which will be ploughed back into maintaining and developing other facilities in the club’s vision. Council wishes to develop this project with a consultant.
