Description

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) wishes to purchase camera equipment, providing infrastructure monitoring coverage in order to maintain a minimum of 460 designated rural watercourses and to construct infrastructure to offer enhanced flood protection to 92 properties , for a period of five years with two optional extension periods of up to 24 months. Support for each camera will run for 5 years from the date of delivery of each piece of equipment. . The software of the static cameras, any software updates and airtime will also be required. Gully and Waste Sweeping Disposal

CWC Street Cleaning Highway team remove approximately 3,500 tonnes of detritus per annum. This is done using Council fleet vehicles. Mechanical channel sweepers and precinct sweepers collect and remove detritus. The highway gully tanker removes and flushes out the highway gully pits to ensuring they do not get blocked dispersing standing water during heavy rain fall. CWC need to dispose of the waste on a daily basis.
