Description

The Welsh Blood Service requires modern, ISO15189-compliant fully automated coagulation analyser to improve testing throughput, reliability, and diagnostic accuracy, ensure seamless integration with EQAS schemes and internal quality control protocols and enhance workflow efficiency and reduce manual handling through automation. The system will be a compact coagulation analyser that is designed for a low-to-medium volume laboratory, offering fully automated testing for both routine and speciality assays. With a throughput of up to 110 tests per hour, it should support continuous operation allowing samples and reagents to be loaded at any time without interrupting the testing process. The system should accommodate at least 20 onboard samples and associated cooled reagents, ensuring optimal stability for sensitive assays.
The system will support data creation storage and back-up that is compliant
with current regulation including ALCOA++ and GDPR. System security will enable role-based access controls tailored to individual responsibilities, with at least four access levels: Operator, Operation and Validation, Configuration and Engineer.

RA354871 - Short term provision of wigs for Oncology and Dermatology patients

The Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a short term (6 month) contract for provision of wigs to Oncology and Dermatology patients. MSE NHS FT is comprised of three hospital sites which are, Southend University Hospital, Basildon University Hospital and Broomfield Hospital. As a baseline Oncology service and Dermatology usually refer circa 200 patients per annum. For full inclusion and exclusions please see the uploaded attachment. The Trust will take payment from the patient directly, unless they meet prescription exemption criteria. The successful supplier will not be involved in this process. In the event a patient would like to purchase a wig of a higher specification and cost, (over and above the voucher value paid by the Trust). The patient will be individually responsible for paying the supplier, directly, the addition cost. The following are the maximum price the Trust will contribute for the cost of a wig. The successful supplier can only invoice for one of these amounts for each patient. Or in the case where a patient decides to have two wigs provided at once, the invoice should clearly show this. £220.00 for synthetic wigs £352.00 for partial human hair wigs Only with confirmation from the Trust the patient has had a patch test showing an allergy to synthetic hair. £450.00 for full human hair wigs Only with confirmation from the Trust the patient has had a patch test showing an allergy to synthetic hair. A maximum of 2 wigs per patient per annum, will be funded by the Trust. the ordering pattern is by patient choice as there is no guidance as to whether these are to be supplied 2 at once or 1 every six months. The Trust will only agree to pay invoices at the values listed above. All invoices must clearly show the purchase order number and reference the patient's NHS number. NHS Terms and conditions of contract purchase order format will be utilised. The radius for service provision is limited to 10k from Southend, Basildon and Broomfield University Hospital sites.
