Description

Procurement of oral health packs, known locally as "Smile Packs" they will include a toothbrush, toothpaste and smile pack leaflet. 
The Authority requires a pack to be made for adults and a pack to be made for juniors (age 6-12 years).  The supplier must be able to print the smile pack leaflets and smile cards. An example of the artwork to be printed will be provided and final artwork will be agreed with the Authority following award.
Delivery will be required to initially deliver half of the total order in 2025-26, for up to 8 delivery locations in Staffordshire. The Council will then call off, as and when required the remaining number of packs.  
Funding has only been confirmed for Year 1, should further funding be confirmed for Years 2 & 3 then the Authority will confirm this no later than 1st November of the preceding year. 
The contract value for year 1 will be £32,000 excluding VAT. This will be split equally between the adult & junior packs

Optional alternative requirement would be for a nursery sustainable bamboo toothbrush. • Brushing for life packs for ages 3+ - (inc. educational pack with a nursery toothbrush, 75ml tube of mild mint toothpaste and an informative leaflet). Optional alternative requirement would be for a nursery sustainable bamboo toothbrush. • Brush Racks – A toothbrush storage system using stickers with healthy snack symbols to identify each child’s toothbrush. Each rack must hold 10 toothbrushes and the stickers provided must both match the symbols printed on the brushes and have a space to write the child’s name. The rack must be able to fit both the provided toothbrushes and Colgate brushes provided for a separate Supervised Toothbrushing programme. A cover should also be provided and included in the price. • Toothbrushes – Required in at least 4 colours (red, yellow, green, and blue) which are designed specifically suitable for Nursery and early Primary School use. The nursery & junior toothbrushes must come ready printed with the option of a healthy snack to match the Brush Rack. These must be available in sets of 10, with the choice of at least 4 colours (see above) to match the Brush Rack. Option for bamboo brushes if possible. • Healthy snack rack stickers - available in at least 4 colours (red, yellow, green and blue). 1 set of Rack Stickers with healthy snack symbols to decorate 1 Rack. Sticker strips must include a space to write children’s names. Replacement strips are also required. • Finger brushes – Soft finger brush designed for use on babies/ small children.
