Central Bedfordshire Council are seeking a provider who can deliver not only the Business Analyst level 4 apprenticeship ( between Jan and June of 2026) but progression routes into Improvement Specialist level 5 apprenticeship and improvement Leader level 6 apprenticeship. We are building a Business Analysis Team and with this in mind we are seeking to procure for an all-encompassing development plan as part of a career pathway roles within the team. We want to support and upskill existing team members, bring in new recruits at apprentice level to support the team. Existing experienced team members may also wish to consider career development further In the new year we will have 3 people ready to undertake a business analyst level 4 apprenticeship. We would like to have a further three places though for other staff to be able to access in 2027 or 2028. As the level 5 and 6 are being requested as progression routes for current staff (2 places on each needed), we have no timeline currently planned to when we would access these. The three candidates to start immediately ideally by March 2026 are one to support current Junior BA with formal qualification (upskill), plus two new graduate recruits. We would prefer to contract with one provider who can offer all three of the apprenticeship pathways requested. If through a competitive process on In -Tend we are unable to secure one provider for all our needs, we may then at that point consider splitting our requirements over two providers. It is our intention to appoint a provider in readiness for the new year with a total maximum contract value of £156,000.00. We would be interested in providers who would consider opening the apprenticeship module learning on process mapping to our wider team to promote continuity in practices and standardised understanding of the methodology.
