To ensure that qualifications comply with Qualifications Wales’ requirements, and that qualifications and the Welsh qualification system are effective for meeting the reasonable needs of learners and employers in Wales, promoting public confidence in qualifications and the Welsh qualification system we regularly rely upon assistance from external subject experts to support our reform, approvals, and monitoring work.
 We use experts such as:
•	Experienced teachers
•	Examiners
•	Academics
•	Professionals in assessment
•	Professionals from vocational industries
The experts we use have detailed knowledge and experience of education and assessment and of how qualifications are taught and assessed. 
We are currently seeking Subject Experts for specific subjects to work as part of our annual monitoring process, specifically focusing on the National Qualifications in Wales. 
The subject areas that we need experts for are:
•	Core Cymraeg and Cymraeg Language and Literature
•	English Literature and Language
•	Mathematics and Numeracy 
•	Religious Studies 
•	Business
•	Dance
•	History
•	Social Studies

Provision of Media Training

This invitation to Quote (ITQ) has been issued by the Contracting Authority who are seeking to award a below-threshold contract for the provision of Media Training. The Contracting Authority will award the contract to a single supplier. The successful supplier must be able to provide the content for an e-learning package, as well as providing delivery of face-to-face media training to equip Senior Leaders with a more comprehensive understanding of the media and our relationship with them. The Contract Term shall be for an initial period of two-years, with an option to extend by up to a further 48 months in periods of two-years (2+2+2).
