Description

The Authority is inviting tenders for the supply, installation, and maintenance of EV charge points across the region, funded through the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) project. The Authority has been awarded and received £3.465 Million by the UK Government to support the implementation of this Contract. This initiative aims to expand public EV charging access, support the transition to sustainable transport and provide equitable distribution of charge points across urban, rural, and underserved areas. The procurement has been structured into two lots, reflecting the differing requirements of on-street residential charging and charging infrastructure in Council owned car parks and community assets.

Electrical Installation Condition Report Testing (Domestic and non-domestic) for Wrexham County Borough Council

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint a single Contractor to undertake Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and associated remedial works as and when instructed. The work may be located anywhere across Wrexham County Borough with all WCBC owned and / or managed buildings falling within the scope of this Contract. The Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) will be delivered as part of a structured five-year testing cycle to ensure a balanced and manageable programme. The works will be carried out in the following stages (assuming the contract is extended accordingly): - Year 1: up to 2,400 properties - Year 2: up to 2,400 properties - Year 3: up to 2,400 properties - Year 4: up to 2,400 properties - Year 5: up to 2,400 properties In Year 6, the programme will recommence with the retesting of the initial 2,400 properties inspected in Year 1, in line with the periodic inspection requirements. Following completion of EICR’s, WCBC may instruct the Contractor to carry out any remedial works that may arise. Whilst these figures are a guide, WCBC cannot commit to them and actual numbers may be higher or lower. No claim for loss of income, profit or similar can be made where figures do not match those contained within the full suite of tender documentation. Please note that WCBC may also instruct the successful Contractor to complete a EICR’s for properties it manages through it’s Local Lettings service but cannot guarantee this. Contracted Work will be let through the JCT Measured term Contract (MTC) 2016. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence on 2nd March 2026. The initial Contract will run for two (2) years. The Contract may be extended for two further periods of two years The total Contract Period including all allowable extensions is six (6) years. The Conditions of Contract which apply to the Contract prior to the extension period will apply to any extension of the Contract Period.
