Description

The works required under this Project, will include but are not limited to: 
• Cyclical decorations to all previously painted surfaces and associated repairs within internal 
communal areas and to external metalwork and timber. 
• Wash down of pre-finished and uPVC surfaces. 
• External brickwork repairs. 
• External structural repairs / works to external walkway. 
• Removal and replacement of soffits, fascias and RWGs to external walkway amd the main roof 
with new UPVC. 
• Repair and recovering of the walkway surface. 
• Replacement of the balustrade to the external walkway.

Framework for Partitions, Suspended Ceilings, Walls and Associated Works

This Framework Agreement is for the implementation of a Framework for Durham County Council for the Supply and Install of Partitions, Suspended Ceilings and Walls and include any design input into technical detailing where required. The Framework does not include any guarantee of any minimum volume of works, or any minimum expenditure. Furthermore, appointment under the Framework Agreement does not constitute a commitment by the Council, or any other contracting authority to the exclusive use of the Framework or an individual supplier for such requirements. The Framework period is2 years, with the options to extend for up to 2 x 12 months Following this tender exercise, a maximum number of three bidding organisation, who achieves the highest weighted tender score over 60% will be awarded a place on the Framework. This Framework/ Contract will be available for use by Durham County Council and additional Contracting Authorities, where they have entered into a Procurement Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Durham County Council and in addition other Organisations and Local Authorities as agreed with Durham County Council. A 1% rebate applies to this framework.

Town Hall Toilet Refurbishment

The Town Council is looking to refurbish the public toilets within the Town Hall community centre with the removal of all existing sanitary ware and a revised layout to be installed including one disabled toilet, 1 female toilet with 3 toilets and associated washbasins and 1 male toilets with 2 toilets, 2 urinals and associated washbasins. New flooring including to the entrance/foyer adjacent to the toilets. A contract specification is included in the tender documents. The program and scheduling will be agreed before commencement. Grant funding is being sought and this may affect the commencement. Contractors should refer to the layout document included in the tender documents. The tender should be submitted in electronic format. All electronic tender documents/electronic media are to be addressed to [email protected] and annotated with "TENDER DOCUMENTS NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 5pm Friday 9th January 2026. The Council reserves the right to discount any tender received in contravention of this instruction. Tenders are to remain open for acceptance for a period of 90 days.
